GR Construction (dba Gibson Roofing) gave neither the highest bid nor the lowest for my projects. I decided to hire them because they seemed to approach the needed repairs with the sense of doing a thorough and lasting job with good quality materials. Steve Gibson, Jr. is knowledgeable and was a pleasure to work with. The roofing was predicted to take 3 days and was finished in 2. I am pleased with the job that was done and would readily refer this company to anyone with roofing and repair needs.

GR was on it from the start. Bid was tight Explanations were good, info on what was needed was good, people worked hard and stayed with things until completed. big job took 4 days. Everything went smoothly. Workers picked things up every day even with the hight wind two days. We love our new roof.......

Very professional and fast. From frist talking with the guy to having the job completed took less than 2 weeks. The roof replace itself took a little longer than I expected (was expecting 1 to 1.5 days and took 2.5). They used a very high quality 50 year shingle. I was expecting the cost of the project to be $5K for a second layer of shingles, but ended up being under that for an entire replace. They even were able to subcontract a plumber for me to move a couple of vents. I highly recommend these guys.

I told my husband I am never hiring a contractor again after this experience. There was very poor comunication as to when the project was going to start. On the first day, the crew worked until 8:45 at night, I told them (in spanish) that I was tired at 8:15., my neighbor told them to stop at 8:30, they finally got the idea at 8:45 when the neighbor threatened to call the police. The owner did not seem concerned about this, even when it is against the law to work after 8 pm in WA county. When the job was done my husband noticed that the skylights were not screwed back in and several nails were not sticking through the eves.
