We were really disappointed with our experience with Gorman and Sons. One of the sons and his work buddy came to inspect the scope of the job and gave us an estimate. My husband and I were both excited to learn that they were going to start Monday the following week and get the job done by Wednesday or Thursday. They called Monday noon and explained that weather forecast doesn't look nice and will just try to start the following day. Late Tuesday I got a phone call telling me that we were quoted incorrectly and price is going to twice as much the original quote. We were completely disappointed not just with the price increase but by the company notifying us 4-5 days after quote was provided to us that they can't get the job done unless we were willing to pay twice the agreed price. We were offered a discount but we didn't think we want them to proceed with the job after our experience with them. I hate giving bad feedback but I thought this one is warranted for future customers and also to help the company provide better service next time.

The crew was here when they said they would be and completed all work, passing my expectations. They did many different types of work for me. I will hire them again when needed.
