Bill gave us a very competitive quote for installation of new sod in our front yard and performed every task included in his quote in expert and timely fashion. The sod he provided is fresh and healthy-looking and shows no evidence of weed infiltration. After removing the worn-out sod, he used hand tools and a walk-behind Bobcat-like machine (the area was under 1700 square ft.) to level off the ground and spread a layer of top dressing before laying the sod. He did a thorough clean-up of dirt on the driveway, etc., and left the lawn looking 100% better than before.

The job was mismeasured and underbid by 40% and took twice as long as initially estimated; some parts were not completed properly or to code.

Response by Great Outdoor Designs: He is absolutely correct about mismeasuring his 8000 square feet driveway but because it was my error I had told him if he would just pay for the extra material I would do the labor for free. I am always willing to fix anything that has been installed incorrectly but I have not received any phone call or email about the problem. I did everything that I could do but sometimes its just not good enough.

I would definitely hire Great Outdoor Designs again and would not hesitiate to recommend them. Very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I was not sure what I needed done. Bill provided expert advice. I appreciated how willing they were to accomodate chages or addtional requests. The work was done quickly and everything looked awesome when they left.

Great Outdoor Designs did an excellent job laying some rock and sod in my yard. They were very easy to work with, and went above and beyond in making sure the job was done right.
