Business Overview

How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because As a residential remodeler, I have used injection and spray foam insulation on many of my projects. I love the fact that homeowners experience immediate results which is what lead me to the decision to start a foam insulation business. Please call me if you have any questions, I am happy to share any info I have..

I liked the gentleman who came out immediately and priced the job. They were neat and efficient. I just thought the price was too high. I needed the work done right away and I am glad I hired this company I just wish I had asked more questions like why so much money?
Response by Green Blanket Insulation, Inc.: I charge a flat rate per square foot. I came out, gave a quote and left. A day later this person called and hired me. I don't take mony up front. I charged exactly what I quoted. This customer had a week to consider the price before I came out, and only now on this website do I hear I was to expensive. This was a very nice customer and it appears as though they really liked my work and my service. I guess 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

Scott was very helpfully with my needs, except the cost was somewhat high after observing some other company quotes. I had blown insulation everywhere inside and out flying around everywhere, a real bad smell was present 10 days after completion of the job and still comes and goes, the smell made me sick, unable to stay in my house the 1st two nights, had to tape and put plastic on my windows to keep the smell from getting in the house, the smell is trapped in the walls and coming out through the windows & door. Do I have the proper ventilation up in my attic, was it done right???
Response by Green Blanket Insulation, Inc.: We made special arrangements to work on a Sunday because the homeowner had removed all his insulation and they were freezing. We sealed his duct work and installed in his attic, a low dust, Energy star rated cellulose insulation that meets all criteria for LEED certification. There is absolutely no odor. According to what Mr. B writes, however, an odor some how traveled from the attic, into his walls and then somehow penetrated his windows and doors for 10 days, oh and I almost forgot, he had to vacate for 2 days. All this from the 85% recycled paper, cellulose insulation. Hmm. I'm sure most readers will figure this out for themselves.

as i was sitting in my chair waiting for the men to pack up all tools and clean up the immediate area---i realized that there was no cool movement of air that i usually felt when sitting there. the improvement of comfort was noticed immediately. i would recommend this company without any reservation. plans have been made for their return to insulate the exterior walls at a later date. VERY pleased.
