Project: Install Brick or Stone Patios, Walks, and Steps

Jeff and his crew did a beautiful job with my walkway and patio. He also weed wacked the area that we needed additional dirt and mulch to level out the height of the walkway. Also, included directing my drainage pipe to go under the walkway. All in all he completed the job in about 5 days, everyone that walked by our home commented on how good of a job they did. Used red and gray tone pavers looks great!

Project: Install a Retaining Wall

Last year, my next door neighbor referred Green Edge Landscaping, Inc. (GELI) to us for the restoration of the retaining wall because he had his done the year before; and he was happy with it. Honestly, GELI was not my first choice from the Service Magic list of contractors, but I am very happy now that I had picked GELI. Jeff and the guys from GELI did exactly what was listed on the contract, and a little more. They were very nice and courteous. After finishing the project, they even cleaned everything up neatly. They advised me to let the dirt settle for about one month, and promised to come back and put more dirt down. Will update!

Project: Grade or Reslope Grounds for Landscaping

I paid in full on May 9, 2011 and as of today, Oct. 24, 2011 it has not been completed. He did most of the job back in May but had some trim to complete which he said he'd do by May 23, 2011. On Sept. 16, 2011 I asked to be refunded what I paid for the purchase and installation of this trim and I'm still waiting for the check.

Response by Green Edge Landscaping, Inc.: I n an effort to esolve this dispute GReen Edge Landscaping, Inc. mailed a check that was cahed by the homeowner. The requested material was not available at the time. The item was added at the request of the homeowner to assist in keeping stone retained due to pet activity. Timing is essential for all project.

The two best things about working with Jeff was his desire to do the job right, and his willingness to keep us updated on the project progress. The patio extension came out nice, and we'll definitely consider Jeff for future work.

He's in the middle of the work and so far, it's going well. He seems very conscience and understands that part of the work he does is landscaping - the other part is understanding his customer - he gets that. He responds promptly to calls or emails - which is HUGE to me. His cost is fair, but like most contractors - the price they quote you is never the one that they end at.

Project: Install Sod

Jeff and his crew did a great job installing about 3000 sq. ft. of sod for a reasonable price. He was also able to do some drainage work and planted around 24 cypress for a visual screen as well as some other landscaping. Highly recommended.
