Project: Install Concrete Patios, Walks and Steps

He built the patio sloping towards the house, rather than away, so water does not drain off and pools up next to the house. He refused to repair it unless I paid him more money.

Job was poorly done, i mean worksmanship is so bad. He didnt do what we have agreed.. I paid on time and i believe he should not be paid at all.... I will never never recommend hoang to anybody... The biggest mistake to have him do our patio after we waited so long and save for it. Pls consider other contractor..... Double thumbs down to this contractor

Mr. Hoang is very reliable and very skilled. However, when we met the second time to sign the contract, he wanted to raise the price by 40% over the earlier price he offered. Admittedly, the earlier price was part of a larger project, and I decided against the other parts, so he would naturally want to charge more for a small project not connected to a larger project. Still, I thought it wasn't quite right. Make sure you get the price straight in the first instance. Aside from that, I thought he was terrific. (And even with the price adjustment, it was a fine price.)
