Project: Build an Addition

Still waiting for Heater repair- Have requested this twice. Front of garage has bow in front- Requested repair unable to do in winter. It's spring and still no contact Drainage from gutters was placed in wrong area. Drains into front yard and is always wet now. Once repairs are finished ratings will improve!

Schaefer Construction, Inc.: The outside heater casing was broken after all inside work was completed and room was being occupied by owner.Still trying to get manufacture to warranty heater.Still waiting on warmer weather to complete drywall repair. And downspout drainage was not included in contract.

We were fortunate to have chosen Ken Schaefer as our contractor. He is reliable, punctual and his craftsmanship is beyond compare. He is meticulous and takes pride in his work. His nice personality and sense of humor made it a pleasure to work with him. With his experience, he was able to offer new ideas that enhanced the look of our kitchen. The amount of work and effort put forth far outweighed the cost of the project. We could not be happier with the result. Ken will be doing our next home improvement. We highly recommend K.A. Schaefer Construction Inc.

Ken is an outstanding person and contractor!!! He has transformed our basement into a high quality living area with wet bar, entertainment/TV room, full bath, sauna, exercise room, wood workshop and storage room. His superb craftsmanship combined with his passion for quality work, lots of creativity, high reliability, cleanliness and a good sense of humor has made him our top choice for our project. On top of all, he is very flexible for plan changes and has always good input how to 'do things'. Finally, Ken is asking for very reasonable prices. In fact we are bringing him back for our kid's bathroom remodeling project! Thanks - Good Job Ken!

Project: Build or Replace a Deck or Non-Masonry Porch

I don't know where to start. Contractor was on time every day. His ten minute lunch time seemed a little bit long for me. It seems five minutes would have been enough. He would start around 7:15 am and finish after 5:00 pm every day. He was clean and meticulous. All requests I made were taken with a "no problem. I can do that attitude." Work was impeccable. He was knowledgeable and helpful through the whole period. Even after many changes during the project, his bill was as quoted. A job well done. What more can I say.

Project: Remodel or Renovate One or More Rooms

So far so good...We're not done with all the rooms yet, but Ken shows up on time, works the whole day, and is a very pleasant man to work with. The kitchen and breakfast room look great. He's now moving on to the dining room and foyer. Well...now he's finished with the entire renovation and all looks great. It's like I have a new house.
