Project: Install Concrete Driveways & Floors
The work was done quickly and very, very well. The only hiccup was that we had requested the sidewalk be rounded and instead it was a right angle. Request was not included on paperwork. But it still looked terrific and I am very pleased with the results and the professionalism of the K&K team.

From the first phone contact to the last sweep of the concrete broom, the folks at K&K provided excellent customer service. The work was completed on time, for a fair price, and the quality was outstanding. I would definitely recommend K&K to my friends and family.

K and K Construction's professionalism and dedication to customer service is superb. I had them redo my concrete all around my house and it looks fantastic. K and K Construction will be my only choice in the future for concrete work. Thanks again Chris and Dena for your friendly service and attention too detail.
Response by K & K Construction: The home owner lives in a different state. We took pictures prior to starting and sent them to him explaining the estimate. We then had constant contact with him, the renter and the neighbors throughout the project. We then took pictures afterwards and sent those to the home owner. The drainage problems were rectified and property looks beautiful!

Project: Install Concrete Driveways & Floors
We wanted to do more space than originally planned and they helped us with it. We completed a lot of prep on all surfaces, very thoroughly before they came, which I think really helped them to help us. The only part we did not fully understand: the original drawing from the estimate was used and it should have been modified slightly to accomodate a wider section on bottom of driveway. We had fiber material added to make it stronger. It was painful to not park on it for a week but worth it!
Response by K & K Construction: We took out a asphalt driveway and placed with 4000 psi concrete. There was some access issues, but we were able to accomodate to get the entire project completed. The standard interval for cure time before you can drive on it is 7 days. It all looks great!

They showed up on time and completed the work in one day. They stated they would be back in 3 days to remove the framing and caution tapes. They returned on time and the work in perfect.

Great crew, Excellent supervision, additional support changes were added at no charge. Highly recommend.
Response by K & K Construction: We poured a new back patio as the old one was severly cracked and sinking. We added in caissons free of charge to help with the shifting soil.

Project: Install Concrete Patios, Walks and Steps
Generally I was pleased with the work that was done. However, I was unhappy with the end of the project. I arrived when the crew was wrapping up. They wanted me to sign a work completion / release form. I didn't want to sign until the cement dried and I could inspect the patio properly. Upon learning this, they immediately began removing the wood braces from the patio sides even though the cement was wet and they had agreed to leave them there until the next day. I asked them to stop but they wouldn't. In moving the braces, one of the crew marred the new surface of the wet concrete. They seemed hell-bent on getting me to sign that paper
Response by K & K Construction: We state from the beginning of the process that payment is due upon services rendered. The customer said he couldn't make it back in time to pay the day of the pour, but then showed up. Our guys do try to obtain a project completion form. We never make anyone sign anything. Since he was late in arriving, the concrete had started to cure enough for the forms to be removed. We didn't rush anything - we have to warrant this work and that would not be in our best interest.
