Project: Install or Replace an Asphalt Shingle Roof

I highly recommend Hild Brothers. I needed my roof replaced and Kevin and his team did an excellent job. Very nice to do business with. Kevin gave me three references to call and they spoke very highly of him and are repeat customers. We have had a lot of rain to test the roof and I have not encountered any problems. I need more work done and will be calling Kevin again.

Hild bros are nice to work with. They did a very good job of painting all the interior of our house in a very short time. They are very reasonably priced for the quality and amount of work. They are trustworthy and honest. Kevin even offered to changed the light fixtures while painting with no extra cost. I was pleased with the service they provided and will definitely recommend them.

very helpful and fast work, I needed my whole bathroom torn out and everything new put in, he gave me an estamate and stuck to it even with a few small alterations on my part. If you need any remodeling done please check with Kevin first.

Project: Remodel a Bathroom

Bathroom surround tiled, new tub, plumbing and electrical fixtures, and paint and install new cabinets. Poor workmanship. Installed bathroom cabinets and light fixture to drywall along without anchors or screws into stud. Electrical outlet pulled out with first use, but he returned to fix. Both cabinets fell down within 12 months, but I fixed those. Did not clean extra grout off tile leaving lots of residue. New tub was a little short of wall and he wanted to either remove drain lip on new tub - or install tile at an angle. I told him to build wall out to fit tub which he did.

Response by Hild Brothers Construction and Remodeling: I am disappointed in this rating, however some people can be difficult to please. The outlet was loose because, as Mark pointed out, we were not done. Cutting the lip off the tub was merely a suggestion that was made by one of my employees, which we also did not do. Mark was part of that conversation and he, myself and the employee agreed this was not the best solution. In reference to the cabinet loosening, I am disappointed that, if it had come loose, Mr V. did not contact me directly to come re-install it. I only wish he would have contacted me regarding his concerns. I pride my self on customer service.

We were absolutely satisfied with the service and punctuality of Kevin and his co-worker on our total gutting and bathroom remodel. I did a rough design on paper of what I wanted done, and was amazed they brought it into reality exactly as I had envisioned. The completed project took less time than was estimated and they worked steady without a hitch. A good, honest, reliable construction worker is hard to find these days, and for the money, Kevin surpassed our expectations. We have hired him for a 2nd project already. Ralph and Joann Breede

Had two rooms completely painted in two days!!

Response by Hild Brothers Construction and Remodeling: We average two rooms per day when we paint, typically. Mike had some dramatic color changes and a lot of trim work which pushed this project to two days time frame. Thanks again Mike. Hope your White Sox are do good this year.
