Lawntech has many good reviews, but their work for me was very disappointing. I asked them to fertilize, spray the weeds and check out a dying spot in the back yard. Their paperwork left on the front door didn't mention any treatment for the dying spot. The tech came back out with a little bit of attitude telling me, "you said I didn't treat the weeds." We looked at the dying spot together. The tech said, "it's either chinch bugs or a fungus. I will spray for both and it will take two treatments. I will get that scheduled for you." A few days passed with no word from the tech or the office. I contacted Lawntech and they said, "I heard about about the bugs, but you were supposed to contact us to set up treatment." They finally came out, but only for another tech to say, "yep, you have chinch bugs in your yard." All this time the dying spot was spreading. I spoke with three different people in the office - Fred, who at first told me I need to check my sprinkler system or the dying spot was where they had treated weeds, Mark, who seemed interested in helping and a lady who listened, but gave me the brush off. I asked all three to have the boss man call me. He didn't call so either he is well insulated from customers, never got the messages or chose not to call me. The tech finally treated the yard for the chinch bugs, but the spot continued to spread. I called back and they said, "you must be calling to see when your second treatment is going to be. We have you scheduled for Thursday." Thursday came and went with no sign of treatment and no invoice on the door as usual. Fred told me, "he was there and left a flag in your yard." I told him no flag and no invoice. He said, "go check your neighbors' yards to see if he got the wrong house." I told him no flags anywhere around. He said, "i guess I better get him back out there." Friday and Saturday passed with no sign of a tech. I called in Monday to let them know and again asked for the boss man to call me. He finally called and left me a real clever message on my voicemail, "I'm a little confused. Our guy was there Thursday for 29 minutes and Friday for 10 minutes. Your wife even took the invoice off the door." I called back and had to leave a message that I'm not married and live alone. At this point they finally started to try to figure out what happened. They admitted they had me mixed up with another customer and said they would really like to keep me as a customer so they would offer a whole $5.00 off my next treatment. Wow. At this point a third of my backyard is dead. I already got someone else lined up to treat the yard. He came out the next day, treated the yard and kept me informed on our plan going forward. If I could give Lawntech less than half a star, I would. They have been terrible. Interestingly, during this whole ordeal they seemed like they didn't even care. Do not use!!!

Very reasonably priced for fertilizing and weed control of our lawn. Very responsive when I call them for extra weed treatments, which are included in the service plan.

We used Lawn Tech for weed control and fertilizing. Our yard has never looked better! We used a different company last year and it didn't look near as good as our lawn started looking after switching to Lawn Tech. Our grass became weed free, very green looking and plush. Also, we noticed A LOT fewer fire ant hills. We had them constantly before and we use a pest service.
