Our owner does all the work himself to ensure customer satisfaction. He started the company right out of school 35 years ago in California, where a license is required, and has had extensive training. We have been approved and certified by Thumbtack and Home Advisor to be at the top of the list of carpet, upholstery, drapery, and tile cleaning companies in Montgomery and Harris counties and earned a near perfect rating for quality of work and professionalism.

The job was cost effective. He was thorough. He cleaned out the old grout and redid the tub area from scratch. He discussed with me what he was doing. And his explanation was clear and to the point. He did a first class job.

CONTINUATION: WORK DONE 11/27/16: Tom called Randy back next day, after speaking with people in California, to try again with haze remover and more power. I called Tom back & asked a few questions about solution and sealant from original. he gave me a rude & generic answer. He tried to explain what he was going to do. He explained again what we did wrong with an aggressive "AND, WHO DOES THAT?!?" I took a breath and said "Me, and that's why we contracted you. We've tried vinegar, simple green, haze remover and a week of elbow grease. We explained many times it was a tile restoration, not just a cleaning." Tom said, "You'll never find a contractor that will fix YOUR MISTAKE!" I told Tom that if I would have been more patient and waited til the Wed after his appt, our floors would be restored properly today. I asked Tom if he ever laid tile before and he said no. I must have complimented Tom at least 5 times during the conversation on his good job of cleaning; BUT, this wasn't a cleaning. It was a tile restoration and that Tom shouldn't have done the job especially after we had doubts (per previous conversation with Randy). This job was not in Tom's area of expertise. After speaking with Home Advisor/Customer Satisfaction Dept., we were concerned about Tom using a solution that he doesn't know anything about. We already caught Tom in a few questionable areas. I called to post-pone 2nd attempt. Another lengthy but unresolved conversation. Tom asked me what would make me a satisfied customer. I told him that he clearer wasn't the guy for the job and that we had to hire another contractor. Once again, "YOU'LL NEVER FIND ANYONE!" Well, we need more than $75 returned. Tom: "AS I TOLD YOUR HUSBAND, THAT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN!" I called Home Advisor back. They/we gave him 72 hours to satisfy us or at least call us. We gave him 5 days - no call. The situation is now going further with 7 - 10 days to resolve. I hate being taken!!!! We hope to hear from you soon and get this resolved. Randy took off a week during Thanksgiving, worked our tails off, and we have 50 people showing up for Christmas Eve. I trusted you -- SHAME ON ME!!
Response by Magic Wand Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning: This customer admitted she destroyed her tile & grout 3 days prior to contacting Home Advisor. Due to her lack of knowledge and experience installing tile and grout, she used a squeegee and a mop to remove her excess grout after she installed her tile which left grout residue on top of her tile. Then she let it dry for 3 days before she hired me to clean and seal her tile and grout as a last resort to help and try to remove her dried grout (cement) and when it didn't work she apparently expected me to work for free. My advice to her would be, Do Not Take On A Job That Is Too Big To Handle ! Hire a professional !!
