My ac was not working. Salty checked the unit with no fault found. He found that the breaker was tripped. There was not charge for this service. My embarrassment must have shown.

Had a bit of problem getting my appointment time right, but the tech did show up at the end of my original window and checked out the HVAC system. What I liked was that when I called the office to find out the ETA they were always responsive and giving me the latest information.

Opened a service request at 6:30 AM on Labor Day and received a call from Mechanical Brothers at 6:59 AM. Set up a time later in the morning between 10 and noon. The service tech, Salty called at 9:45 to say he was on the way. He arrived at 10:00 and found that we only had a blown circuit breaker. I thought that while he was here he could service my two A/C units and he told me they did not need it given their age and the quality of the brand we had installed. He charged me nothing after spending 30 minutes at my house on a holiday!! Seems like a great company and I will do business with them anytime we need heating or cooling service.

Very quick response and service. After the service was complete, I asked for follow-up on a different and much larger A/C project but they never contacted me...their loss!

The first tech that came out missed obvious freon leak and problem re-occurred. 2nd tech that came out found source of leak almost immediately and repaired. Also replaced freon at a discounted rate since problem not fixed the first time. If you check around you will find that these guys have the best standard rate on freon. 1/2 the price of competition for my Trane unit.
