This was my first experience using a contractor, and working with Brandon and Justin and the rest of the team at Micro Federal solutions was great. They were great at providing regular communication during the course of the project, and I liked having the updates and photos almost every day in the application they use. Managing customer expectations through regular communication is always important. The team was great and put in some long days taking care of some of the surprises that came up while renovating a 90-yr old house. Love the outcome in my home every day, and I definitely feel like I got a good value. I have already recommended them to a few friends and family.

I can’t say enough about this company and its staff. I made use of a 203k renovation loan. There are not many contractors in the DMV who are familiar with the process, are reasonably priced, have availability and are actually good!! I’m not one for long reviews so I’ll get right to it. Work done was as follows: •Kitchen remodel Removal of 2 walls Installation of new countertops, cabinets, island, tiled flooring. •Lighting installation of 18 recess lights throughout the home •Electric Heavy up of electrical box and grounding of 12 outlets Other minor outlet and gfi upgrades •Roof repair Partial repair of damaged roof Trust Worthy – Extremely responsible with locking up and being respectful of my belongings in my home while coming in and out for 4 weeks. Efficient – The few delays that existed were on my end (fyi: Be ready to make decisions quickly because these guys hit the ground running) Accuracy – I was given exactly what I asked for and what was ordered. No surprises. This is huge with a tight budget and dealing with the 203k Loan process Professionalism – I was always treated with respect and felt like I was their only customer. Updates were given to me daily via their app (pictures, activity log, etc). I should also mention that on numerous occasions I was asked if I’m happy with the progress/ outcome and what I would change or if I had any feedback on service. I would absolutely recommend this company or use them for future renovations.

This was the first time I've taken on a major home improvement project, so admittedly, I was nervous after hearing horror stories from other contractors. I am thoroughly pleased with how my renovation turned out. Brandon and his staff accommodated every part of this complex project with lots of moving parts. They had excellent follow-up and customer service and showed genuine concern for how the finished project would turn out. Brandon advised me against making a number of poor decisions that I was previously set on which ended up saving me money and added to the beauty of my new home. Simply put, I couldn't be more pleased!

Project: Install Ceramic or Porcelain Tile
The owner as well as the workers where very professional. The work (installation of floor and wall tile) started and finished on time and they cleaned up the debris from their work on a daily basis and hauled it all away at the completion of the project. I look forward to working with Micro Federal Solutions, Inc. on other up coming projects which I am currently reviewing.

The kitchen remodel took longer than expected due to shortage of staff and other jobs being done, however; the quality of the work was exceptional and am very pleased. I really appreciated the follow-up from owner (Brandon Adams) on each stage of the specific project completion. Also, the top worker who is a jack of all trades (Freddie) is exceptional.

Project: Install Ceramic or Porcelain Tile
I had a difficult backsplash installation because the quickset had to be built out in one corner to adjust for the fact that my kitchen isn't quite square and the counter didn't quite reach the wall, leaving a 1/2 gap that was basically ugly epoxy that needed to be covered by the tile wall. They did a really excellent job dealing with the engineering challenges - you can't tell there is a problem in the corner. My tile was loose glass 2 x 8 subway tile. It's straight, it's level, it really looks great. It wasn't cheap, but in this case, I was happy to pay a bit more and have someone who knew what they were doing, which the installer really did. My only complaint is that I ended up with some very small tiles in one corner, but looking at how many places on that wall that they had to avoid having tile slivers I am not sure it could have been done much better, and if they had to be somewhere, the corner where they are is where I would have wanted them. Overall they did a really great job and I would recommend them to anyone needing tile work.

Very impressed by the professionalism and punctuality exhibited by the entire team. The job was done in phases and each task was organized and well managed to the last detail. Especially appreciated Brandons personal follow-up during the process to see if I was satisfied and to answer any questions. I would definitely use them again

We bought a house that was built in 1968 and has had no real upkeep or improvements since then. We still have a completely avocado green kitchen appliance suite if that tells you anything. Soon after moving in, we had Micro Federal Solutions finish a basement and turn it into a studio apartment. They did an awesome job, they were here everyday at 8 a.m. until the job was completed, and they worked within our budget. With that great experience, we continued to work with Brandon and his team on several "old plumbing" issues and a dishwasher installation. We actually "interviewed" 5 other contractors before Brandon and had 3 more on our list to talk to. After meeting with Brandon, we were done interviewing. After so many personal bad experiences and so many horror stories from friends about their contractor experiences, these are going to be our go-to guys until this place is a showroom. We have already nailed down a budget for a bathroom remodel and we have been talking with Brandon about our wish list for after that. We fully intend to use Micro Federal Solutions for our future kitchen remodel, for a wall take down, and to double the size of our master bath and allow an en suite bathroom. It is now and it will continue to be a great relationship! :)
