I was recovering from neck surgery and needed a leaf clean up badly. Mike's Lawn Service was contacted at the last minute and was very accomodating. All our communications were handled by email. This was my first need for a leaf lawn service and I thought the fee was a little high, but perhaps that was the market rate.

Not only was the price beyond reasonable, but ... the job was larger than my pride would wish to discuss at this time, but Mike's facial and body language suggested no betrayal of any disdain (not that I'm saying he felt it in the first place) which would have been justified given our inability to tend to our yard as in seasons past. In short, Mike's a nice guy (oddly, a word I rarely use); and would be a welcome guest - fee involved, or not - at our home. Last thing: since the initial visit, it was Mike who made first contact with us in relation to the date and time of the next visit. In past, we were either chasing or chasing away wannabees

When I initially used ServiceMagic to look for lawn service I was given three area businesses that were to contact me. Within five minutes Mike called me and we scheduled an appointment. He also sent me an email thanking me for my interest within an hour. Mike showed up as promised to give me an estimate. He was on time and very courteous. He gave me what I felt was a very fair estimate for the work that I told him that I wanted done and even suggested waiting for a while to do it so that it would look even better. He did a great job and I will definitely use him in the future. Noone else even bothered to contact me. Mike's is great.
