Couldn't be more pleased. My water heater went Saturday afternoon of Easter weekend. Didn't expect response, but Gordon even on a holiday weekend responded. When you are going to pay for something and then pay for it, everyone expects the best. My Dear Watson Plumbing came through on all accounts. I would absolutely recommend this company. Very nice job!

Project: Install a Natural Gas or Propane Fired Boiler or Radiator Heating System
First the good; Gordon came out promptly and gave free estimate.....about $1500 parts and labor including electrician needed to replace oil burner in furnace, plus about $300 for furnace cleaning for total about $1800. I specifically asked if $1800 was to be the total cost and he said yes. They came back a day or 2 later and got the job done promptly, which I really appreciated since it was the coldest day of the year, plus for most it was also a holiday, President's day. The bad was that even though he did not have time to clean the furnace, he still felt entitled to the full $1800 price including the $300 for cleaning job he didn't do.
Response by My Dear Watson Plumbing, Heating & Cooling: Thank you for your review. It's so hard to quote some repairs upfront especially when the unit is over 60 years old! That being said the charge for cleaning the oil fired boiler went to the re wiring of the Steam boiler controls. I could not predict that the stack limit control was gone as well as the burner.We had to take the control out of series and re wire to the main control on the oil burner. My apologies if you miss understood why the charge was the same.

I have rental property and lost the heat when outside temp was 0 deg C, Mr Watson (Plumber) went to the property on Sunday and fix the issue (reasonable charge)!

Project: Repair Natural Gas or Propane Furnace / Forced Air Heating System
Took extra trips to diagnosis that the blower motor had failed, even though I had already opened up the unit and narrowed down the problem to either the motor or control board. Polite, got the job done, but at close to $1,600 - rather intensive to customer's budget.
Response by My Dear Watson Plumbing, Heating & Cooling: I had a similar service call a while back and with the help of tech support I ordered a control board for the unit and it turned out to be the ECM motor. I didn't want to make that mistake twice. Returning to the job was to make sure I could be on the phone with tech support and diagnose completely what needed to be you repaired. The ECM motor although very efficient are very expensive. Over $800 dollars for that motor. Thank you for your review.

He charged when did not solve problem I asked for a electrition because it was a electrician problem but you sent a plumber. When he could not fix it he phoned a electrition to find out the problem. He still could not fix it. I did not think I should not pay but he said I must pay. I did but want my money back. He should have told me right away he was not a electrition rather than spending two hours trying to fix a problem he was incapable of solving.

I diagnosed the problem which took over two hours. when I quoted the repair cost Steve didn't want me to do the work he felt it was work for an electrician. I charged him for a diagnostic fee for the time and energy to correctly diagnose the problem.
