Initially everything went smoothly. I was impressed with the floor professionals knowledge and expertise when he came out to provide a cost estimate. The job was completed on time and within budget. However, there were several areas on my wood floors where the contractor sanded too far down and stripped the finish on the prefab flooring. When asked to address the issue the owner became defensive stating that those areas were there prior to his starting the job which is definitely not the case. He was suppose to come back on several occasions to fix those areas but never showed up and I did not receive a phone call to let me know.

The guys from Narrow Gate responded quickly to my request for an estimate, scheduled my job right away. Absolute minimum of noise and dust. Respectful of my home, my time, and my family. Quality of workmanship outstanding - raves from everyone who visits. I'll have them back for our next project.

Mike is a great person to work with. We need to refinish our kitchen's hardwood floor and install new hardwood floor in our living room to make them match. Mike finished the job in a timely manner and the result is great. The price is very competitive. Highly recommended.

Mike Morgan of Narrow Gate Flooring is easy to work with and easy to get along. I had originally decided to install hardwood on just the stairs and hallway but after a few conversations with Mike I decided to do the whole upstairs. Mike and his crew were in the house for more than a week and at all times courteous and professional. Quality of the work is good and their service is a good value for money. I would recommend their service to anyone looking to get carpentry work done or hardwood installed.

Michael was fantastic. He replaced our crappy stairs and added wood flooring to our front door landing, all at an affordable price. Brought great ideas to the project to enhance it even more than we thought possible. I would definitely hire him again.

we hired this pro, wouldn't do it again. we paid a lot for what we got. once the floor was refinished he was paid, he cashed checks immediately and did come by to check after he was paid. there were 3 large puddles of finish that dried in the kitchen area and small rough patches in some areas. we wanted to do the rest of the house but will someone else. we called to have him come back to fix it. he showed up sanded a litte and when dried it looked worse my husband to fix it.....not good.

The Best! Last minute emergency refinish on Sunday! We called Mike Saturday afternoon after discovering the carpet in our just rented home had strong permanent cat urine odor. To make things worse- the moving truck was on it's way and we had to leave on Monday for two weeks! Mike called us right away after we posted our job and came over for a quote in no time. Sympathizing with two obviously strung out movers/ painters/ travelers- Mike gave us a great deal on our job and said he would be back Sunday to get the job done. He made our floor look great, always on time, clean and was a pleasure to have in our home. He is definitely our floor guy!
