We had a problem with communication but when they finally got here they did an excellent job. I would recommend this company.

The work was done professionally and very quickly. The only issue was that I was never informed when the work would be done. I chalk that up to a miscommunication mix-up. I would use this company again.

Trevor and his associates are very pleasant to talk to IN PERSON. They came and installed a shower enclosure and a mirror. Now the not so good: They dented the new floor in my bedroom (not badly but still). One of the glass panel shattered for no reason (!!), apparently it's very rare but has been heard of, well it happened to us! It was during Easter and someone came to clean up right away! That was great, also it was probably wise on their end so they could try to investigate the problem and why it broke. One thing I'm very dissatisfied with is the communication. Expect text-message-style emails, very few word, no communication if you don't reach out to them. It's really too bad because they are nice people, deliver quality products at a competitive price, but that frustration of not being kept in the loop is masking all the benefits of hiring them... They ought to invest into a better customer service. Now that said, I'm pretty sure they have tons of work to do and chose to be competitive by cutting corners on the administrative side. I'm still waiting for my shower enclosure 7 weeks after the quote that mentioned a 2-week lead time and receive short emails from an iphone AFTER I reach out to them. It could be worst.

First off, upon meeting Trevor for our estimate,we found him to be professional, polite, and courteous,a pleasure to deal with. He came equipped with photos of past cabinet refacing projects. To say the least we were impressed with the presentation and happy with the quote which was thousands of dollars cheaper than competitor. The job was completed as stated with no major mishaps or surprises. At first glance from afar we were very pleased. Upon close inspection the problem areas jumped out at you. Areas of facing material had splits, scrape marks on finish, cracks and some holes in areas on bottom underneath cabinet. This kind of work I would call shoddy. Another issue was seams in the crown molding. Instead of making cuts in areas that would not be seen, they were made in an area of high traffic for all to see. Upon calling Trevor to have problems fixed there were endless calls back and forth to get somebody here to repair problems. We've had 2 false draw fronts fall off due to staples being too short to firmly secure, had to fix muself or call a 100 times. On a side note we again called Trevor to have floor and doorway moldings replaced to match cabinet finish. He came and measured, ordered materials, and 4 months later and another 50 calls we're still waiting. In closing, to think back, we should have paid the extra money and hired other company that gave us a quote, who was local. I would not recommend New England Home and Glass. Too many hassles, promised phone calls that never happpen, and workmanship below standard. Just my opinion. H. Sprague in Halifax,Ma.

Hired them for a custom shower glass enclosure as our dimensions weren't standard. They replied immediately after filling out the information on this site and had someone (Pete) come out a few hours later to assess what we needed. Pete is awesome - very knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to explain various options. He didn't try to upsell us on anything that we didn't need. When it came to a quote, it was a couple hundred under what another person had given us. There were some hiccups when it came to communication with the owner. We didn't receive a receipt right away and I had to ask/remind them a couple of times. Also, our installation took three weeks instead of the initial two. They did show up exactly at the end of two weeks but their distributor gave them the wrong finish. They could have done a better job of letting us know when or if they were coming. We found that we had to call them up repeatedly to see what the plans were instead of them reaching out to us. From my understanding, they've been really busy as of recent so that probably explains why they haven't been too proactive in keeping us informed. Yesterday, Pete showed up to install the door. Just as friendly as ever - a pleasure to have around. He installed it in a timely manner even although it was way past his typical working hours. They wanted to make sure we were happy .The end results turned out to be fantastic. We're very pleased with the doors and their service in the end. I'd definitely hire them again and would recommend their services.
