Project: Build an Addition

We contacted several remodelers for our master suite addition, and have been very satisfied with Rob Golder and NC Custom Construction. Rob has consistently shown a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail. He is to be highly recommended.

Project: Remodel a Kitchen

Rob was great to work with. He took care of everything involved in our kitchen remodel (cabinets, flooring, countertops, backsplash, lighting, etc. ... the whole works). In fact, we increased the scope of the project to include installation of wood flooring on most of the first floor, moving a closet door, and a 1/2 bath remodel. He was very flexible and accommodated all our requests. He also kept us informed every step of the way so we knew exactly what to expect. The quality of his workmanship was outstanding, and he and his team were very reliable. He truly strives to make his clients happy. We were very impressed by his professionalism. Our house looks really great now. It was definitely worth the money we spent. I would highly recommend Rob and his team for any project.

Project: Remodel a Basement

My overall experience with NC Custom Construction was very good, I would without hesitation use them again and recommend them to others. The only two areas I think they could use some improvement: 1) Week-to-week communication, briefly touching base with the homeowner at the beginning or end of each week with the expectations for the coming week would go a long way. This was done on occassion but was not done consistently. 2) Some improvement could be made on what I'll call the project wrap-up. There was not really a formal walk through and no formal opportunity to create a punch list of outstanding items. It would have also been a more professional touch to bring in a professional cleaner as a part of the project wrap-up. I believe the above are minor improvements that could be made to make an already very professional and polished organization even better.
