Project: Remodel to Accommodate a Disability
I used Nucon to manage the retrofit of my basement into an accessible bedroom/bathroom as well as implement a new entry into the home for a wheelchair. Their estimates were right on the money and their estimate came in-between 2 others? Their communication with their contractors was okay. Their electric contractor left little to be desired. The foreman, was awesome, kind, thoughtful, clear, a great individual to work with. Plumbing was perfect. Painting was great when done by their painting contractor, however, painting by the general contractor, was sub par, so I would not recommend a last minute paint job. Have referred Nucon to others.

Project: Remodel a Basement
Did not conform to their own contract regarding additional work. Hit us with a large bill at the end. Quality of work was OK; but character qualities such as integrity were woefully lacking. Would not recommend them to anyone and would never hire them for another job of any size.

Project: Renovate or Repair a Home
We dealt with Steve Hanscome and Nucon crew extensively throughout the months for our big construction project. We are very pleased with their professionalism and work ethics. They received feedbacks from us and listened to things that we liked or needed changed. Steve made sure that any issues we had were taken care of immediately. He is sensitive to our needs and looked at the overall picture of our house health and provided solutions for us. We are grateful to have found someone we can trust. Terrible but necessary to replace the brick facade after earthquake damage and builder error. Nucon gave a fair price and excellent work and service.
