We could not be happier with the job PCM did. Our leaking roof was replaced in one weak, at a much better price than any competitor quote we got. We were able to reach Gary on his cell day and night as well as during weekends for questions about the project. When new gutter leaked slightly he send someone over the next day and completely took care of it. Would receommend.

They were quick to respond and complete the repair/replacement of our chimney flashing and putting a new gutter and downspout on one side of the house. Mike Portillo was very easy to deal with and they beat another estimate I had gotten. I only rated them 4 stars on quality because we won't know how well the flashing replacement will work until we get a major storm.

PMC provided timely and complete service for our roofing needs. We were able to discuss possible changes to the basic reproofing project to include replacement of our skylight, removal of the existing roof vents and adding a new ridge vent for the entire roof and the addition of a cricket behind the chimney to prevent water/leave and other debris from collecting between the roff ridge and chimney base. Based on uncovering plywood damage a decision was made to also replace all of the roof plywood underlayment and was quoted at an affordable price. We found PMC easy to work with for this effort,

Excellent!!!! Very professional. The work was started at the contractual time. Employees took the time to cover bushes and small trees, prior to removing old roof; something I hadn't seen being done when other roofs were replaced in the neighborhood. Entire roof was replaced in one day. Excellent job in cleaning up as well. I was so impressed with the work, that the company has been contracted to do some additional work on my house.

Mike and Gary were great to work with. The initial quality of the roof had some very minor issues that Mike and Gary jumped on immediately when I told them. Unreal customer support! I am very impressed with the company and our roof looks great. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you all for a great looking roof!

The initial proposal was light on details and not correctly scoped (i.e. repair 2x4's instead of 2x6's). Nonetheless, PMC was aggressive in beating other prices so I signed with them. After, I mistakenly asked some follow-up questions to confirm things discussed in person and over email (shingle type, ventilation, etc.). Mike came out without letting me know, re-scoped the work, and the price jumped! I wanted to switch contractors after this but they wouldn't let me because they said it had been more than 3 days (it had not been more than 3 business days though). In the end, decent work, but too much back-and-forth and price haggling.

Response by PMC Construction: We would just like to clarify that we went through some so called "price haggling", we also completed the job, we gave the customer high grade materials for mid range pricing, we did have an issue in this particular job because the original estimator who initially contacted this client was terminated and did not turn in all of his materials pertaining to this work scope, we did suggest to replace most of the plywood and informed the customer how much per sheet, we did offer the customer 40$ per plywood sheet instead of our standard $50/ sheet due to the inconvenience of having to send an additional estimator, We appreciate the business Chris

I am pleased with the service, but somehow the communication was not very good, because when I emailed and called twice asking about the time range I should be at the house since it is an empty one, no one responded me. In the future, hope someone will take care of phone calls and email messages.

Project: Repair an Asphalt Shingle Roof

Hired these guys to originally repair a bay window that was leaking due to the Super Storm, but they found (and had pictures of) even more damage, that had I not known about, would only have gotten worse. They fixed and/or replaced everything (including my roof) and re-painted where necessary. The owners were very thorough and were on-site each day. Their crew was very polite and did a great job, too. I'd highly recommend PMC Construction.

Hard working, prof. But i willI need to include All costs the contract for any future projects. It turns out that final cost for my roofing project exceeded my initial contract...due to add on...

Response by PMC Construction: Sometimes when we do these roofing projects , there are unforeseen scopes that can only be addressed once we have already commenced the contract, however we state in every contract that there will be a charge for any plywood that is replaced, it is clearlty written, on that note we still value you as a client of ours and wish to continue to be your service provider, next time around we will make sure both of us know when to cross the t's and dot the i's., to stay on the exact same page.
