When Tim first came to visit my property he was many hours late. That was just the beginning regarding scheduling issues. He gave me an adequate estimate on re-installing the drip system in my yard. I accepted his quote and had quite a difficult time actually scheduling the work. When emailing or calling Tim it's hit or miss whether he will get back to you that day or a few days later. I had problems with the work once it was completed and had a very difficult time reaching Tim to come back out and repair the leaking and make sure all the foliage was getting enough water. Many of the items and details we discussed during the estimate seemed to have been forgotten once the work started. The workers didn't adequately bury all the drip lines and didn't seem concerned about removing all the old drip lines from the yard or in the ground. I'm still picking up pieces of old drip line lying around my yard. While digging in my front yard the workers cut my cox cable in two places and I had to wait for Cox to repair and bury the cable over a month later. Tim didn't seem too apologetic about the damage. After a week of prodding, Tim came back out to repair a leak that was spraying water all over my porch. When it started leaking again the following day, Tim did not respond to my messages or emails. He told me 4 different times that he was coming to get it fixed yet he never showed up. VERY POOR follow up! I finally gave up and tried to get it fixed myself. I have never dealt with any professional who was so poor at communicating with their customer. It was almost to the point of being ridiculous. This is a response to the company's response to my review. Tim came out to fix the major leak by putting the faulty nozzle back on the drip line. The nozzle came right back out of the drip line after Tim left and the leak continued. Tim informed me 4 different times that he would be out to fix the problem via text message. He never came, I was never called by the company and to this day the problem still exists and the company has not contacted me. I spent $2000 on this project and I have been abandoned.
Response by Phoenix Valley Landscaping: We apologies for the lack of communication that you feel you have received, however many lines were repaired at no cost or little additional costs, even though another company (trees) seemed to create some of the issues. We have never been given information to the service that did the trees in order to attempt to get on same page and rectify all the issues that may or may not have been caused due to drip irrigation replacements.

Project: Install Sod
Fair price. Stayed on the schedule they gave me and did an excellent job installing our new lawn.
Response by Phoenix Valley Landscaping: Thank you for the review Richard, as always we strive to satisfy our customers, so that they are happy with the finished job. Word of mouth is worth everything to us and again we are pleased you are satisfied with your work.

Project: Install Sod
My initial review was mistaken. Mike responded to me personally and all issues have been resolved, he obviously cares a great deal about his customers. The irrigation line is problematic from the street, so it was explained that it wouldn't be warrantied. I was unaware of this until I spoke with Mike. They still replaced the faulty pipe at no cost, so I have no complaints with the water bill and bad pipe situation.
Response by Phoenix Valley Landscaping: This entire job was done without warranty due to the customer buying a home with water lines tapped directly into the main. We were responsive and responded by informing and correcting the issues and the needs of the customers mother. Customer was informed of this and we have fixed lines at no charge twice not one time. Several times the customer has had calls on a non warranty job serviced with no additional charges when called upon. Shovel is an issue that a honest mistake was made on and we will purchase a new one for customer if one given is insufficient We also located a leak in property NEXT door not even on the customer property, customer thought it was a leak in their system...My guess is other companies may have used this as an opportunity to get more money by being less than credible we did not. Unfortunate that some customers these days take an opportunity to potentially harm a business by taking a knee jerk reaction and post a less than good review when something goes wrong several months after original job was performed especially when all was fine until that point. Phone call was made 3 days ago before a weekend and customer is upset he didn't get a call back ASAP over said weekend. Company is following up yet again as we have in the past and will continue to do on ALL jobs. Spoke with customer and he states he will update the review due to his mistake of thinking he felt an earlier contact was warranted. Customer apologized as we did and we are both happy with resolution.

Was tardy to our first two mtgs. Traded out some plants before telling me, but this was to the plants he intended to use having a disease this season.
Response by Phoenix Valley Landscaping: We apologize for the mix up, we originally had the incorrect address for the first meeting and couldn't reach either customer in the home to authorize the plant selections. We will work harder on our management of the installation and materials with customers moving forward and thank you for the words to improve upon.

Review update. 6/29/16. Drip line was installed today. Thanks to Tim and Edgar for correcting the issue. Appreciate it! Work was completed timely however it was discovered at the end of completion that the crew did not install a drip line to one of my plants. I was told by project supervisor Tim Russo that he would have some one come out the next day to fix it. After 4 weeks and several text messages to him they have not come back out to finish the job nor have I received any follow-up contact from them. Poor customer service!!!!
Response by Phoenix Valley Landscaping: After speaking with the customer, this was a miscommunication that sometimes occurs, not acceptable but it can happen with many moving parts. The job will be completed today and taken care of. We apologize for the delays and the lack of follow through as we strive to provide excellent customer service to all of our customer regardless of job size.

Initial contact was made by a pleasant representative who know the job at hand. No complaints about him. However, the crew that came-in to do the actual work, left a great deal to be desired.
Response by Phoenix Valley Landscaping: Sir: We apologize for the follow through with our workers, and I will have the designer reach out to you to see if there is anything else that we can do to rectify and satisfy the finish product.

They were very professional in laying out a design and letting me decide what I wanted to complete at this time. The project was scheduled for the next day and they worked late to finish the bulk of the work. All of the workers were professional and courteous. When they were finished, they cleaned up the work areas nicely and had me walk through to ensure I accepted the completed work.

PVL put together a landscape plan which I approved and then they abandoned the job---haven't heard from them n almost a month.
Response by Phoenix Valley Landscaping: Mr. [Consumer name withheld at their request] the companies understanding was that we would not be moving forward with this..obviously a huge misunderstanding to say the least. Can we contact and rectify if possible? We aim for customer service to be outstanding and our record speaks to this, we are like others and have missteps, we try to avoid them, but they happen...hopefully we can make this right for you.

Project: Install Sod
They were very prompt in their scheduling of work and completed the entire project in one day. When they were finished, they cleaned up the work areas nicely including where the soil and sod had been stored during completion of the project. I would hire them again for any landscaping project I may have in the future. Tim and Justin did a great job in organizing and completing the project.
