Upstairs AC was not cooling. After initial diagnostics, results was that I needed new capacitor, motor, & labor eventhough technician knew that condenser was spinning. Paid $69. 2 months passed, upstairs AC was doing the same thing. This time technician says it needed to freon, had to pay $69 again + $169 for freon=$238. If you are a technician, there has to be a checklist on what to "check" rather than making assumptions on what is wrong. On top of that, the technician was late on both appointments!

Dealt with 5 companies for this repair work. A&A was not the cheapest but competitive in their estimate and the most responsive and provided the details of what their estimates would cover. Provided senior discount on hardware but not labor.

Timing was totally off of when tech was suppose to arrive, and never received a call that he was running late. Other than that so far good

Diagnosed the issue and made repairs accordingly. It unfortunately required replacement of the 17+ yr old AC system.

This process was very easy...first they were able to send someone out the same day my AC froze up. The tech that came out was great, he was very knowledgeable, friendly and explained it so I would understand what the problem was and my options to replace it. Next, he filled my AC unit with Freon so the AC would work until they could come back to replace it. On installation day (only 2 days later) the same tech came out (this is a huge + because they don't contract out other companies to install) and everything went smooth. They were done removing the old system and installing the new one within about 6 1/2 hours. They made sure to check it was working properly before they left. I did have a small noise issue so I called them and they send one of the workers back within an hour of me calling. He came and said this noise in the drain is normal until a certain part of the piping fills up with water. Sure enough, it did so the noise stopped and then he went up in the attic to make sure all was working properly before he left. I definitely recommend A & A for your needs. I will keep their number for servicing my new AC unit.
