Recently I had the pleasure of an absolutely outstanding experience with my deck replacement project. After seeking 6 different bids and being very unimpressed and shocked on price with nearly all of them, the contractor I selected and used was Rechsteiner Home Improvements LLC. Steve Rechsteiner owns and operates his own business and is a true professional, communicates at a level unseen in the home trades industry, is priced incredibly fair for the value and top quality produced. He is dedicated to customer service and satisfaction and he listens to what you need and want. Steve is my go to contracting going forward!

Steve and his crew did a great job. I needed to impose a pretty hard and tight deadline due to a baby soon to arrive and he still did a great job. He and his crew were very easy to work with and I felt comfortable working with them (and my wife) throughout the process. They were open to slight changes while still managing the deadline. I would definitely recommend them for any project. In fact, they may be putting up a new deck for me soon.

The completed project so far exceeded our expectations it was unbelievable. We wanted an exterior raised deck with a porch roof. What we got was finished as well as if it had been a living room. All the details and finishing were just spectacular right down to the matching gable roof and interior lights and ceiling fan. From the first meeting, we were impressed with his professional attitude. He listened carefully to what we had in mind and then told us how he could make that happen.

Steve was prompt when I requested a quote on our composite deck. He was the only contractor to give me an estimated cost during his site visit, then provide an exact quote a couple days later. Work was completed in about a week and we were very happy with the quality of work.

We were very pleased with the work done. The only problem arose from not having checklist of things that were agreed upon. There were times when we had one understanding but they had a different one and tried to charge more than agreed on to do certain things. In the end it all worked out, but I would recommend a specific drawing with items agreed on for the estimate in advance.
