my only concern is iF you are a rural homeowner, and have a well for water, be forewarned, the power wash cleaning used a lot of well water. The Renew Crew did the cleaning in two half days so our well would not run dry. Make sure you advise the Renew Crew you are on well water. The deck is sealed and it LOOKS GREAT !!!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE/DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! After looking at their beautiful pictures of deck renewals, we hired this company in May, 2016 ($1,500). However, less than a year later our deck has mildew; is faded and discolored (some boards actually have no stain on them in places). We sent them pictures, but got got no response from our email/pictures; however, following a phone call, Sean came out to look at our deck, and agreed to redo it for $500, which he said was their cost. He told us he'd be sending a written agreement, which we never received. We attempted to get in touch with the owner, Chris Miller, but have received no response to date. It would seem that if this company is experts in deck renewal as they advertise, that for $1,500 they would stand behind their work.

Crew was very professional and they did excellent job of cleaning up. The staining of our Deck looks great. It's only been five days since the job was completed and we are hoping that it will continue to look great.

The process from initial discussions, to understanding what I wanted, through scheduling and ultimately work execution was excellent. Sales and service (different people) were very responsive, professional and did quality work. I would absolutely recommend them and would use them again.

Very timely response to my inquiry, had someone on site the next day for a quote and the entire project was completed within two weeks of my initial inquiry. My deck and swing set look brand new! They did a great job restoring both the deck and the swing set and were answered all of my questions timely throughout the project. The price was very reasonable as well and below my expectations based on other quotes. I will definitely hire them again in a few years when we need to refresh the deck again.

they did a good job power washing but the next day they were suppose to come back they were short a crew so they could not come. It is now 3 days later. Sure hope they come today or before it gets dirty again

Do not work with this company if you want anything more than pressure washing/staining and don't care how your deck will look when they are done. Your deck may not end up looking like the examples in their shiny book about their company. Their standard for replacing boards is based on safety (whether the board is rotten) versus how the deck looks when the job is done (whether it will look like you painted a half rotten board). They did not identify boards that needed to be replaced during the estimate process and tried to make it my problem when I complained about the quality of their work and how the deck looked. The crew was not professional and did not check their work. Their solution was to have a carpenter that they recommend charge $50/board to replace boards and have a return visit to have these boards restained. It took over a month to have a phone conversation with the manager about the problems.They are not the experts in deck renewal that they advertise that they are and their customer service could be improved
Response by Renew Crew of the Triangle: Miss Zurek, it is unfortunate that you feel that our work was worth a 1 star. I personally visited your deck and it has been completed to our high standards. As I explained on the phone, most customers with 20 plus years of neglect and heavily weather boards would be satisfied with the result of the staining. Renew Crew is not in business to sell you more than you need. We will identify safety issues but the "look" of the board is subjective per each individual customer. Regardless, the final result did not meet your standards. I offered my carpenter to visit, replace the boards and send a crew to stain the new boards free of charge. The going rate for my carpenter is $50 per board (Renew Crew does not have a markup on his work) to cover the costs of all labor, travel time, materials, and removal / discard of the old boards. It certainly was not a requirement for you to use our contractor but the goal was to make process easy for you. On the phone you were not able to give specifics on the quality issues. However, if you feel quality issues exist, I would be more than happy to meet with you in person, make a punch list of the quality issues, and have a crew come out to complete the punch list (at no charge). Please call me anytime on my personal cell (575-590-1975) to arrange a meeting. Quality and customer service is extremely important to us.

Great customer service. I am very happy with the job Renew Crew performed. I had to get a portion of my deck replaced, which meant that the old part and my new part did not match. Renew Crew gave my deck a clean seamless look again. My only disappointment in quality was that the crew got stain on my silver wire railings and caps.
