Although it took longer than expected, I appreciated the attention to detail they took to get things right and overcome some issues that came about through no fault of their own. I was happy with the flexibility of some changes I wanted to make during the renovation and that as the project progressed that my ideas and thoughts were not discarded.

We had more trouble and interruption in our lives trying to get a new counter top and shower repair. Took off work twice that no one showed up! When we did not like the result the first time their first response was defensive and "oh well". Had to make the company head come and look at the counter top. The granite was not cut right and faucets would not fit. They did redo the job but again it was scheduled for a day that no one showed up. I would never recommend this company. We signed contract in mid February, had to call 4-5 times to get a start date, they started on March 13 and finished April 19. Should have only taken 2 days.
Response by Renewing the Home Services, LLC: There are several statements in the review listed above that are not correct. First of all, Renewing the Home Services always sets up a walk through before any work is done to a customers house. My designer and my lead installer met with Caryl the week of April third to discuss their project and verify all the work that was needed. We had agreed that installation would start on April 10th. So the comment of the project staring on March 13th is FALSE. Second, I had two installers, my granite guys and my designer at the customers house at 9am on Monday April 10th. The customer was nowhere to be found and would not answer or return phone calls when we were trying to locate them to start their project. My employees plus my granite guy had to leave the job because the customer did not allow us any access to do the work on their project. On Thursday April 13th the customer finally allowed us to start their project. The vanity top was difficult due to a bow in an existing side wall. Forcing the granite to need to be modified. When we installed the initial vanity top their was also a 1/4 inch gap between the back splash and the mirror. The customer was not satisfied with the gap. On Friday April 14th Renewing the Home Services agreed that we were not happy with the initial granite installation and would provide them a NEW granite vanity top at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. On Monday April 17th "RHS" had to locate a new slab of granite and start fabrication on their vanity top. We had hoped to be able to locate the granite and fabricate the granite for a fast turn around, unfortunately we were not able to do the installation on Tuesday April 18th. However we were able to be at the Customers house on Wednesday morning April the 19th to install their second vanity top, two drains and two faucets. Anyone in the home remodeling industry knows that this is an extremely fast turn around for a granite project. Caryls husband Van Knolton said he "Loved the new vanity top and was very satisfied with it." Van had no problem writing a check for the final payment. If there was so much displeasure and animosity from the customer then why did they write us a final check? This customer was extremely pushy, rude and demanding. All in all the have a beautiful project that apparently they do not appreciate.

The onsite worker seemed lazy and cut corners continually. It was good we were there on a daily basis. The owner, Shay, was very responsive and fixed everything, but if we hadn't been present to identify issues it wouldn't have been done. Lots of details overlooked. Clean-up meant they picked up the big stuff but not any little stuff. Grout smeared on backsplash, switch plates not reinstalled until requested, moldings not sanded before staining, etc. I had hoped to hire a professional so I could rely on them to get it done, but I had to be involved everyday. Finished product looks great, but it was a stressful project.

My husband and I were very pleased with the work that Steve did and he was very professional. We had tile removed and new tile put is and we had a new stool put in and new plumbing and new counter top. We had new floor board out on and new towel racks and new window in. All of it was done well and we had no problem. We would have them again. The price was fair also. Steve was good and very professional. Shay Foster one of the owners can out to makes sure everything was going fine with us. Nathan was also making sure all was going as planned. The price was worth it. IT was under 10,000.

I would not recommend this company at all. We had 2 bathrooms remodeled, but they sent 2 different guys to do the work. The first bathroom has a hole and crack in the ceiling and the floor tile work was terrible. They forgot to put the fixtures in and kept holding us off getting finished. We were told 3 weeks, but it was more like 2 months.
