Project: Install Natural Stone Tile

Sloppy work--tiles were not level, gaps left exposed beyond the switch plate covers, cost US hundreds of dollars when he turned off our fuse to the basement fridge AND freezer and didn't turn it back on. We didn't notice for a few days and our entire summer's worth of organically grown and frozen veggies, plus lots of frozen meats were rotten. He came back to fix the unlevel tiles but never paid for any of the food loss we had. Sloppy work....grout looks UNPROFESSIONAL and we need to redo it on our own.

Response by Restagno Ceramic Tile and Marble: Homeowner installed tile. I installed 8 pieces of tile. And grouted. Customer ran out of product went back twice to grout and caulk. The tile out of level" was one (1) tile trim piece ( 4 inches) between cabinet and door. Owners tile work was average at best. Yes, I turned off fuses because owner installed plugs were not taped and posed a shock hazard. Turned all fuses back on but one. My mistake. Customer expected a pro to turn average at best tile job done by homeowner into masterpiece. Customer never asked for me to pay for food even though I apologized and offered. Her reply was " I know you didn't do it on purpose" . Hundreds was $250

Excellent. I love him. He is very neat and cleans up after the work. He has great attention to detail. He would ask if they was anything else that he could do and give impute on the work.
