I was not impressed with the technicians knowledge. The problem was not solved and the answers I was given did not make sense. I ended up having another plumbing professional to address the problem and figure out what was actually going on.

Project: Repair or Replace a Sump Pump
Got water pumped out of basement asap and new pump install. Was later getting to job than expected due to hold up on another job. Seemed a bit pricey but then again I haven't had to have a plumber for quite awhile to know the rates. Bottom line job done, basement dry.

I called the three Roto Rooter offices in the area, and none of them even answered the phone. Doug came out in about an hour, and fixed the problem in two. (I hope I got the name right; I'm terrible with names.) Thanks! :)

Project: Repair or Replace a Sump Pump
got a call back within 10 minutes of request and arrived 30 minutes later. diagnosed problem with sump pump within 15 minutes, managed to get a sump pump at 7pm Saturday, installed works fine. looked at our commode, took it apart and found tree roots clogging our sewer line. weeded them out, refit the commode and it's flushing like never before. very pleased and have his number in our file. he gave us a cut in cost per hour which was appreciated - esp considering it was Saturday!

Service provider was neat, clean, polite, and prompt. The price was a little high in that the problem was only greatly improved, not solved. The solution was (is) to cost triple.
