James and Ginna West are great. He came out gave an estimate. Started the job right away. Finished in a couple days and I have two beautiful walls. He went above and beyond. I will call him again for my next project.

Project: Install a Retaining Wall

Supervision was limited; skill of workers questionable; obvious flaws throughout the wall; plastic drain pipe to carry away roof runoff was laid less than 1 inch from the surface will inhibit landscaping the area behind the wall; charged for errors due to miscommunication. Overall, an unfortunate experience.

Response by Rock Solid Concrete Specialists, Inc.: We installed retaining wall according to contract. During installation of retaining wall, homeowner changed her mind and wanted it installed (design) against our recommendation and manufacture (with gaps). During project, we had a death in the family and had to go out of town however, the project was completed how the homeowner requested in a timely fashion considering the numerous decision changes that would occur after she said that is what she wanted. The pipe was installed correctly until she changed the height of the bed which caused the pipe to appear raised. It was more than unfortunate, it was worse experience in 25 years.

James and his crew at Rock Solid built the foundation for my 22' x 30' garage project, which consisted of footings, a 24" block skirt wall and a 4" slab. They listened to what I wanted and built exactly what I asked for on budget in a timely and professional manner. The work was high quality, with all inspections passing the first time. When the job was completed the only sign that they were there was a rock solid foundation. They impressed me with their effort and skills enough that I plan on hiring them back to pour the driveway when I'm ready.

I am very pleased with all the work that was done and how beautiful my backyard looks. I would definately recommend them to everyone. James and Ginna were wonderful during the whole project with communication and any questions.
