Project: Clean Gutters and Downspouts
The girls in the office were very nice when I called to set up an appointment. However, I was told 2 men would be coming for a rate of $120/hour. 3 weeks later 1 man arrived and it took him 1-1/2 hours. When I received my invoice I was charged the 2 man rate for 1-1/2 hours. I called to have the 1/2 hour charge removed since it would have only taken 2 men no more than 1 hour to do what 1 man did in 1-1/2. The office told me they would remove the $60 but they would not come back again to clean my gutters because it suddenly was too far for them to travel. I am 1 hr from their office and saw other addresses in remarks that I know are also 1 hr.

My initial appointment was canceled because the contractor said that they could not find my house due to confusion regarding my address. I did not understand this as my address is clear as day in the Service Magic request. This pushed my appointment back another week. A little frustrating, however, they came out and did the job. Reasonable price and seems like they did a good job.

The service provider was excellent. The returned the original call within an hour or two, gave me options as to when and how I wanted the work done as well as provided me with an estimate of how much the work would cost. The technicians who arrived (ON TIME I MIGHT ADD) were courteous and very professional. Should I ever need repairs in that area again, there is no question who would be doing the work.

I have used Royal Gutter many times in the past, but looked to see what else was around in the area, as my experience a yera agowssn't very good. Decided to stick with Royal, but had to be really persistent to get the job scheduled (affected the "customer service" rating). But they did get a crew to me (after 8 days) before the heavy rains came again, Willy and Moses were terrific!
