I have had trouble trusting contractors due to some bad experiences we have had over the last year, but Chris has restored my faith. He arrived when he said he would and explained all he was going to do. He was very patient with me, making sure I understood why he had to do the work he was doing. He tried everything he could to make older parts work in order to save us money. The actual work was top notch, and the price fair for all he had to do. He worked very hard and even cleaned up after himself. Chris is also an excellent "people person" which is hard to find in any profession. Hire Chris! You won't be dissapointed.

knowledgeable and experienced. Only caveat, it was a straightforward repair of a 90 degree elbow leaking. I found the leak myself and described it preciely on phone and requested an estimate. I had already had 1 plumber come by and it was to be $250. Had another quote via phone at $250. When I spoke to Chris at Safeguard he said $200. They were delayed arriving (but plus for letting me know), so my sister was the only one there. They charged $300. I think that was a bit much especially since they had quoted a much lower price.

Great work -- problem fixed - Nice, polite technician. $375 for a cleard pipe seemed a little pricey for not having to dig. But I don't have much to compare it to because I've not needed a plumber in many years.

Chris was very responsive and took care of my issue with leaking in my basement. I was able to call him initially and talk through the issue, which saved me a few hundred dollars that Roto-Rooter was trying to charge for something unecessary. He was very honest when he came for an estimate, and seemed to have a very good idea of what the leaking was coming from. He gave me a warranty for his work that beat all the other estimates. Great price, easy to work with, and reliable. Hopefully the issue is fully resolved, but if it isn't, I know he will stick to his word.
