never got any call backs when I called their office and they never called when work was finished,after Aug I,m still cleaning up from the first day when the 2 guys they sent out made a mess and ruined a few things,and they never did care about the items the guys on 8-24-2016 ruined,plus belived I was over charged for sure and they know that..never again

Project: Repair or Service a Central Air Conditioning System
Furnace cleaning is nothing but diagnostic service, there was nothing much to clean in the furnace.
Response by Sal's Heating and Cooling, Inc.: This is not true. Depending on how often you maintain a furnace there could be plenty to clean. The most important is checking the flue and ventilation for your safety. And yes diagnostic is key to make sure nothing needs to be changed out to prevent a failure in the dead of winter. I a bad encounter with them the first time they came out two men and one stayed in the truck smoking while the other at as though he wasn't sure what to do. I was only getting an estimate which was extremely high $369 they were suppose to fix a leak in my shower and make sure everything else was alright in the basement. I was told to call the city out and have them flush my sewage drain out.???? and they left. The sale lady contacted me and I told her what happened and I thought that would be the end of that. My daughter turned around and reschedule another appointment I went ahead and let the gentlemen in and he was awesome he fixed my issue with in 15 minutes he explain to me everything that he was going to do before hand and quoted me a reasonable price $156 which made since for what was needed. I must say the first time was horrible but they made up for it with the second guy. I would refer my family and friends

They did not fix the ac, I called the next day and told them that was still not working. They sent someone there to take a look and still charged another hour. Finally decided to hire someone else for a fair price and now the ac is working great. Do not hire this company, they will not fix the problem so they can keep going back to your house and charge you for what they call continuation of service
Response by Sal's Heating and Cooling, Inc.: Weliton, These claims are simply not true. Time is money but we only charge time in the event we need to return. We waive the service call for the next 30 days. This is a mechanical device and unpredictable. I am sure we did not leave without it working. I am sure nobody wants to continue to pay us to see if it breaks again and this is why we charge this way, very fair. I will look into this and see if there is anything we can offer to help with this review that is based on frustration. We returned, and held up our end sounds like your AC unit let you down. Please refer to all the other reviews, we defiantly know how to repair an AC unit. I am sorry we did not fix it to remain running the first time but these things can happen. I wish we could of spoken before writing a review. Thanks, Sal

They were a smidgen late (No doubt because guys from Royalton don't get to Lorain too often) but their work was as professional as I would have done it (if I was smart enough).

This is the reason we call on the way with no set appointments unless it is a first AM. So we are never late. It is not about being smart enough it is about knowing your trade.
