We used Steve to inspect a home that we are buying. Since we are first time buyers, he was willing to go over everything, including safety of our new home, such as how to shut off the main water, electricity, and furnace. He was very thorough in looking for anything wrong, and explained everything so that we could learn about what was needed in repairs. He seems to be very honest and an expert at what he does. He was able to address all of our concerns and was willing to answer all of our questions. It seems he is very good at pointing out what is wrong and he seems hard on the owners, but good with buyers. Highly recommend!

I hired this inspector to take a look at my daughter and son-in-law's potential home purchase. They were uninitiated first home buyers and nervous about the daunting process. I can't say enough how wonderful I found Mr Sherman's manner! He carries on a continuous conversion with the purchasers as he looks at every item, explains everything, and makes a multitude of helpful suggestions. When he walks out of that house- you know what you are purchasing! My daughter and son inlaw were so happy and confident when he left. HIre this guy!!

Steve is very professional and thorough. We asked to Steve to come to our house in order to help us prioritize home projects and get an idea of what our budget might look like. Not only did he help us with that, he pointed out issues that we didn't even know we had. His expertise saved us a lot of money and the huge inconvenience of a flooded basement. We would highly recommend Steve to anyone interested in having their property inspected.
