Showed up on time as scheduled and got the work completed before their estimate. Pretty good since the weather did not cooperate.

Review by Stephen F. in Marietta, GA
I read the previous reviews about Siding Depot and while they may have some merit, I must've been the unlucky one. David was nice, but we were blown off multiple times. Our job was delayed multiple times, while we watched neighbors who contacted Siding Depot after us, get started and finished before we were. David stated that a trailer would be available on-site to dump any other construction garbage we had during their time here. This was not true. The trailer was full most of the time and then the one time it should've been empty, they brought a full trailer with someone else's garbage and stored it on our property over the Memorial Day weekend. After the siding and paint were completed, everyone just left. David never showed back up or contacted us to see how we felt about the job. Our very first rain storm after the siding, we had leaks along several dormers that their contractors installed new siding. David finally came out after the second repair call and installed a small piece of flashing and said, "I will come back after the next rain to check if it fixed the leaks". As of today, September 16, 2017, David still has not shown back up or contacted us. Guess what? We still have active leaks. We paid Siding Depot 90% of the total and kept the remaining until they completed the job 100%. They have chosen not to repair their poor quality installation and have been unresponsive to us in our concerns. I would not recommend Siding Depot to any of my neighbors and I hope someone that reads this is smart enough to know better than to hire a company that will not stand behind their work and word. At the price they charge, I would expect much better service than what we have experienced. I should also mention that the leaks we have experienced have damaged the integrity of the drywall and signs of mold are beginning to show. All I ever asked was for Siding Depot to make this right and to stop blowing us off. Thank you for taking the time to read this review.
Response by Siding Depot, LLC: Dear (consumer name withheld per their request) We are disappointed that you felt the need to leave a negative review, as we take customer satisfaction very seriously, and it is the first of its kind as reflected in our recent growth to a second location. We?d like to take this opportunity to respond to your concerns. 1) In regard to ?a full trailer with someone else?s garbage??it is standard industry practice to only empty a FULL dumpster. It?s not uncommon to relocated partially full dumpsters to other job sites until it?s full. At no time were any materials, supplies or tools left on your property. 2) In regard to David following up ? our contractor left your job site with a completed Certificate of Completion indicating that the job was done to your satisfaction. 3) The remainder of your complaint is addressed as follows: This homeowner bought their first ?fixer upper? and ran out of money in the middle of the flip?in their own words. They had no complaints until after 60 days when we were forced by law to file a lien on their property, after being given ample advance notice that went unanswered after almost a dozen times. We finally connected after calling from a non-office phone number and arranged to meet the homeowner at their home within an hour. We listened to their concerns, which involved two very tiny brown spots on their ceiling. We offered to stain block the spots, even though they had nothing to do with our work. The spots were the result of a 20-year-old roof that is in dire need of replacement ? the opinion of not 1, but 3 roofing contractors. The cost of fixing these spots is less than $100, which provides no justification to hold the remaining 10% of the total siding replacement contract. When our accounting department assessed their account, we reached out to them and offered to extend their payment terms with an email as follows: ?Our repair technician has attempted to schedule time to come out and Kilz the two water spots on your ceiling.  The time you made an appointment with him, you had to cancel because of an appointment.  Then you scheduled a time with him subsequently and canceled this.  Now when he reached back out to you, he was informed that you were looking for a job.  He?s attempted twice to reschedule since then and you have not contacted him back.  We are of the impression that you simply aren?t willing to keep your end of our contract.  We?ve been completed with this job for a month.  The water spots are simply warranty work. We are a very laid back company and want you to know that if you have a problem paying the final bill, we can work out a plan that we can all live with.  However, we do need a confirmation by Friday of this week and we must have a signed agreement for the final payment options after we connect. If we don?t hear back from you, we?ll have no choice but file a lien on your home and proceed with collections. Sorry it has come down to this.  We look forward to your reply.? As of today, we still have received NO reply, but instead this online complaint which does not include the facts. We are still willing to do the water mark repairs providing the customer pays their balance in full. Unfortunately, in the contractor industry, we have limited time to collect final payment for our services. Our goal is to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. This complaint is the first of its kind out of more than 1,000 satisfied customers.

After many fruitless encounters with home repair "experts" while seeking to have some fascia capping repaired on my house, I had the good fortune to find Armando Magalhas of Siding Depot. Whereas many businesses will not consider small jobs (no profit), Armando realized the position I was in, i.e., unable to perform the repair myself, and offered his company's services to help me. Upon meeting him, I could tell immediately that he was an honest businessman with a genuine personal concern for his customers, both big and small. Armando asked me to text him a picture of the work, which I did, and within a matter of days, his employee John called and made an appointment with me. The crew showed up exactly on time and performed a spectacular repair job using better methodology than the original work! The price they charged was totally reasonable, in fact, a great deal! These are GREAT FOLKS! Consider them to be a "Preferred Vendor" to perform work on your home! These guys are RARE!

This company is the best! We started off getting estimate from another source and had the ultimate rip off artist showing up at our house. We were about to give up not bother to have out siding replaced. We ran across a bright green building on Sandy Plains road with a sign saying "Siding Depot". We went in and meet Armando. After speaking with him for about 10 minutes we knew we were in the right place. His passion for what he does and his pricing and quality are unmatched. His crew were always on time, polite and aimed to please. The clean up was so complete it did not even appear they were there when they completed the work. I highly recommend this company!

Project: Install or Replace Wood or Fiber-Cement Siding
Siding Depot was one of three estimates we got to replace our old masonite siding with fiber cement siding. David came out and was very informative, and very knowledgeable about what needs to be done. He had samples of everything in his truck, and did not try and upsell us or give us a hard sell at all. We liked him immediately. The other two estimates we received weren't nearly as thorough, as knowledgeable, or likable as David was, and Siding Depot was the cheapest of the three--win win. The crew came out a week later and it only took them less than four days to tear off all of the old siding, and replace with new. They did a fantastic job, and everyone was so nice. They cleaned up everything afterwards very satisfactorily. The painting crew came two days after completion and were done in two days. Great experience overall!! Would recommend them to anyone looking for a siding company.

These guys were great. David came out and provided the quote. I accepted and the team came out within the week to start the project. I was kept well informed during the whole process. They cleaned-up after themselves and made sure I was satisfied before accepting payment.

David Lopez called me very quickly after I requested a quote online. He was very friendly, professional and informative. He showed me actual samples of the two types of siding and explained the difference. David was very conscious of my budget, working with me to get the best deal for a high quality product. The installation crew was fantastic. They were very professional, friendly, and efficient. The painting crew was every bit as good! They all came to the door to introduce themselves and went out of their way to keep me informed of their progress, as well as to avoid "bothering" me at all! They easily agreed to do small favors for me, such as installing new lighting that I had purchased. I would HIGHLY recommend Siding Depot!! You won't be sorry!!
