Eric was wonderful. In fact he had to come back out and redo some of the work that the installers did. I called him and he immediately fixed the problem. The only thing was thecwe waited for this to be done. Now we have to wait for the landscaping done. Also think 50 percent down is a lot. Used other landscaping companies before and never had to put money down before you could even be put on the schedule.

I had a stone patio put in, mulch beds created, and some bushes planted. My work was done quickly after we signed the contract - we called early in the year to get on their schedule early and it work out well with the great weather we have had. My work was done efficiently and with much care for accuracy - my yard has a slight slope for drainage and thus the patio has to be carefully leveled. The planning was done professionally and I was able to make revisions to the original blueprint quickly and without any probems.

Recommend that S.A.T. contact people and let them know if they are scheduled for work to be done, and an approximate date for the work to be started. Also recommend that Service Magic due a better job of sending info to contractors, S.A.T. was the only contractor that responded to my request for quotes.

Response by S.A.T. Landscape Services: We would love to be able to let customers know when we are coming, the problem is, we are so weather dependent, that if we say a certain day and can't make it that day because of weather, soil problems, or our vendors not digging plants, etc.., then the customers really get upset with that as well, problably even more. Through the years we found it best not to call any customers ahead of time, unless they insist on it.

I am very satisfied with the repair work S.A.T. Landscape Services did on my front porch brick stair. Structurally, the job is great. The bricks are layed in a pattern matching the other stairs and seem pitched correctly for water drainage. Asthetically, the repaired stair stands out, and I requested a follow up visit to wash the mortar off the bricks. The repair request was responded to promptly. I am happy to have a sturdy front porch again, and in time I expect the new clean mortar will weather to match the surrounding bricked areas.
