The project went well. From the first visit where Elan had a vision to open up the kitchen to the living room, to the last details he put us first. We loved his ideas and went forward. All the crew were polite and professional. I spoke with Kerry in the office and few times and she was always concerned as to our satisfaction with everything we discussed. Elan is very much the perfectionist and wanted all levels of the process to go smoothly and to our expectations. He showed up regularly and kept in touch via phone and texts as well. He is easy to work with. My husband and I grew to really love Elan. His thoughtfulness and care of our needs really shined. We recommend Elan and Supreme Remodeling for your next project. They're the best!!

Project: New Windows
This is just the first part of my story about Supreme Remodeling Incorporated in Van Nuys. This is about the window replacement. From the first moment we met Issac and Ilan, sales people from Supreme Remolding, Inc. they were very high pressure. They proposed a plan where they would remodel our bathroom at no charge if we bought other energy efficient upgrades that could be billed under some a state program where we would get a low interest rate because it was all energy efficient remodeling. We agreed with their offer. Doing the paperwork on the loan was a nightmare. We signed documents on line, and in person and then then wanted them notarized. They could not figure out how to get the correct paperwork signed in the proper way. Once they started Construction everything went wrong. They told us more than three times that we were getting Milgard windows. Then they installed some other brand of window called Value Windows, they were not Milgard windows. When I confronted them on that subject they said these were better windows and gave a higher give a higher rating than the Milgard windows and that Milgard did not make windows that had the correct size egress to meet the standards of the City of Anaheim. As far as Value Windows having a higher rating we could never verify that. The only websites we could find for that company or advertisements for that company were by Value Windows. Afterwards, we found more than 10 installers of Milgard windows for the city of Anaheim. Makes me think they do make window that meet the City of Anahiems egress standard. After the windows were done there was debris left under all of the windows and around the house that they didnt clean up. I kept bring this up over the next few weeks and the debris was never cleaned up despite being told it would be. In two of the room we had shutters on the windows. They removed the shutters and it left the area under where the shutters mounted to the wall exposed, rough and unpainted. I was repeatedly told they would paint the walls around the windows. I even set out the paint that matched the walls for them to use. It wasnt until I refused to sign off that the project was done so they would get paid for the job, that the CEO of Supreme, Mickie got involved and got someone to paint the walls. But despite the correct color set out for them , they found a can of a similar color in my garage, but not the correct color and painted around the windows. They did not prep the walls in any way just put some paint on it and it was very poorly painted. Mikey and Issac promised me that if I signed off on completion of the project so they could get paid that they would get everything cleaned up and fixed by the end of the week. That did not occur. They did not clean up any of the debris or fix the painting around the widow.

Everyone in the company, from the office people to Isaac to the cabinet people Eric and Eli and the crew were all amazing. They came out when we chose them and did what they said they were going to do and got it done! The crew cleaned up, every night before going home. I have had bigger construction done before and nothing has ever gone as smooth and with little issues to be addressed, as this did. I have already referred them out to friends and I would definitely use them again. They will always be my go to now, for anything I may need done.

We researched and received bids from several other companies and chose Supreme Remodeling. The Project Manager, Isaac Sade, came to our home with a computer and translated what we envisioned to a 3D image. He was very helpful with suggestions when our limited experience with this sort of thing made it hard to express what we wanted. What truly impresses us is that Isaac is here with us almost every day. He never appears rushed and is very patient with our endless questions. Isaac is directing a team of very capable professionals. They show up every day at 8am and begin working immediately. We are mid-project and Isaac has kept things going well ahead of schedule and running smoothly, while also making sure that all the details receive attention. Each day, before he leaves, he asks if there is anything he can do for us. One of those days he settled an argument between me and my laptop by untangling part of the system for me. Now I call that added value over and above what I would usually expect.

Forensic contractors, surety bonds, State licensing board, Interpleader claimants, etc etc; are all not so great things we are now informed about via a single construction experience for a pool and pergola via Supreme Remodeling. We contracted with Supreme in early February 2015. They broke ground in May 2015 citing delays with getting a permit for the pool due to water conservation. Nonetheless, they provided assurances the original completion date of June 2015 as not a problem. No extensions requested or needed however they completely missed this deadline along with others along the way. For this review let's focus on a single aspect, the pool. By mid-June the pool had been excavated, rebarred, shot-creted, and some plumbing in. See picture, as this is how the yard sat for some time. After the deadline had come and gone we did see coping but it wasn't again until February 2016, after begging for some movement or updates, and our own efforts to pull permits, handle their architect/surveyor/etc, we then got some progress in the form more concrete, pool tiles, and pool equipment. Unfortunately, they poured the concert without proper drainage within as outlined in the plans, so they did it along the side. Also, they forgot to run a number of conduit from the pump area to the other side of the yard. Moreover, there are two filters and for one they poured an odd shape without the sleeve in it, so there are no sleeves available to fit (or tops unless you heat and shave and bend one yourself!) One other item, the tile work in the pool were redone completely as countless tiles were chipped, cracked, or broken: see photos. Also, the bonding material they put underneath was too thick in many areas which causes white discoloration to come through the tiles and they are not level- it waves! All along communication was poor and many times we asked and followed up about deadlines, workers, daily and weekly work schedules and many times there was underperformance and lack of attention including odd statements. Twice asked for a list of subcontractors, and a materials break down. I was told two things: (a) this is not done in residential construction; and (b) you just pay lump some amounts along the way for general items because when you buy a necklace from a department store, you don't ask about the materials, who strung the pearls, where the clasp was from, or what each piece of it cost: just pay the whole amount. From the perspective of the pool, we had to redo what felt like a lot: all the tile work, all the electrical that supports it and the house itself as that was also an issue, and much of the pool equipment failed within days of being turned on but only after getting a new contractor.

I hired Supreme to help with the rough remodel my house which including removing a couple of load bearing walls, electrical and plumbing work, plus installing central AC. Rami was awesome and was very easy to work with. He communicated frequently, making sure I was kept in the loop of any developments. Best of all, he really took the time at the beginning of the process to plan everything out as much as we could so I knew what I was getting myself into and he didn't try to upsell or nickel and dime me with change orders. Great workmanship and I would definitely use them again.

Me and my wife planned to get a complete kitchen remodel as well open it up a little bit. We had a galley kitchen that just felt too small, my wife (who spends more time in the kitchen than I do) was getting tired of having no space to work and no cabinets to put her stuff in. We looked at a few different companies online and although they all looked impressive Supreme's project manager had a few projects going on the area and gave us some great references, all of whom were happy to tell us about their experience with Supreme remodeling/ The project was fairly sizeable as I said we didn't just remodel the kitchen we expanded it, we pushed it a little into the dining room to get more room to move and put cabinets, we changed the lighting, upgraded the electrical and plumbing and painted the whole living / kitchen / dining room at the same time. We ended up with a beautiful kitchen and couldn't be happier. Our project manager Jakob was on top of everything from the moment we met until we finished just a couple days ago. He made sure the house was clean the whole time, his foreman was here daily checking to make sure we were on schedule, his designer made an amazing layout for us. It was nice to have someone so involved with everything, we even picked out our own slab for the counters. On top of the great work he did during the project, he's been great about following up with us and making sure were still happy after the fact. My favorite part is that although their bid was a little higher than the other guys they never once tried to change the price or add anything to it which was a big concern for my wife seeing how her mother had just gotten ripped off on a whole house renovation from another company that gave her a lower price only to double it after finding "issues" during demolition a couple years ago. So all in all great experience I feel I got what I paid for and them some with the service.
