This is the first time I've used Home Advisor. After having called TACO, they answered my call promptly and made a same-day appt. They showed up on time, serviced my boiler & made some maintenence suggestions. we discussed several boiler options and I could tell by their answers that 1) they knew what they were doing and 2) they weren't trying to upsell me just to make a buck. Great experience & I plan to use them again, instead of the previous service I'd been using. Very good recommendation from the Home Advisor site.

Project: Repair or Service a Central Air Conditioning System
Response time on the initial problem was very good. The technician was knowledgable and identified the problem with the system quickly. Unfortunately, due to heavy rain and flooding it took him a long time to acquire the necessary replacement part, but he finally got the job done. However, it took two more visits to fully complete the repair, the first to reconnect an electrical connection that came undone and then a week later to replace a defective part. As of now, all is working well. The cost on this was pretty high and the amount of effort to complete the repair was pretty low, that's the reason for the "average" value rating.

He called immediately. Came out promptly and repaired my air conditioner. He is coming back out just to make sure it is running properly. I will use him again and would recommed him to anyone!

Finished repairing the leaking pipe but Left with the boiler not working. Try to trick me into a $1800 "boiler scrubbing". I found a different company. $150 annual service solved the problem.

THIS COMPANY WAS VERY PROMPT IN FOLLOWING UP WITH OUR REQUIRED SERVICE. THE TECHNICIAN WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE TOOK HIS TIME IN EXPLAINING ALL PROCEDURES DONE. WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ALL ELECTRICAL & PLUMBING SERVICES IN YOUR HOME.

Project: Repair or Service a Hot Tub or Spa
The initial diagnosis resulted in an electrical panel repair. After the correct breaker was ordered after the second visit I was already two payments into a repair that was not complete. The final proposed payment was so outrageous, I decided to get someone else. Plus, the technician managed to short out my home phone line during the second repair visit. Lesson learned.
Response by TACO, Inc.: 1st call was for a hottub repair we found the SQUARE D GFCI in you illegally installed MURRAY electrical panel defective plus another breaker as well. $125 diagnostic fee. 2nd visit w the 2 new parts, installed 15amp CB & got the basement lights working properly. The NEW model murray GFCI is bigger than the old one & will not fit in the panel safely. you only paid for the 15 amp breaker that visit . we also noticed alot of rust in your panel so we checked the riser pipe outside for leaks & sealed piping at no charge. spoke w supply house to find the old sq D brkr only surplus is available betwn shp & parts& labor it was too too much $$$

TACO fixed a problem that has been plaguing our central a/c system for years, when no one else was able to solve the problem at a more-than-fair rate!..When I need a new central air system, you can bet that TACO will be my choice vendor. Thank God for honest service providers!!
