I haven't yet gotten the quote finalized or even the work done, but he is exactly the type of old-timer with several generations of the family in cabinet-making. He's the kind of fellow who all the big box companies try to copy and mass produce with their fake wood products and laminates. This is the kind of carpenter that not only can build cabinets, but can build an entire house. He doesn't just measure, build, and install the cabinets, but he has the experience and care to notice major structural issues with the home to advise the homeowner on the cabinets. He has a nice photo album of some very high quality recent work.
