Project: Repair Drywall
Drywall work usually requires some painting to bring the room back to its original look. V.T. Roy does not do painting jobs. I would've preferred a contractor that did all of that without the trouble of looking for 2 separate contractors. The drywall work that was done is perfect. They explained the process and arrived on time as promised.

Very good communication. Responded several times by e-mail and by phone. Work was done promptly and no mess was left. So far, so good. And he gave me a 1-year warranty on his work. As far as value for money I guess the price was reasonable. No other companies even returned my e-mails or request so I can't compare. But that is a PLUS for Mr. Roy. He contacted me several times.

Vic was extremely knowledeable and was able to discuss potential problems before he ever pulled out a tool. This made sure there were no surprises and I got exactly what I was expecting. Vic and his associate were very respectful of our home and family and left our home clean.

Project: Repair Plaster
V.T. Roy was able to start the drywall job right away. They arrived promptly and were very polite. However, once the job was completed, no effort was made in cleaning up and the entire room was left in a thick white dust. Also, there were areas that the drywall tape was not completely covered, which required additional work. Furthermore, I had to sand all the corners and edges a great deal before primer could be applied. Personally, I thought hiring a professional vs. DIY would have resulted in a greater quailty of work.

He worked in very trying conditions and never complained or even mentioned it. Very courtious, efficient, and professional. Everything looked first rate. He also revised his schedule to accomodate my emergency situation. Not only would I recommend him, I already have! A friend of mine will be contacting him this week.
