They came out and assessed our repair problem for our diningroom table and did not charge us for the assessment. He helped explain how we could fix it ourselves and save the money he would have to charge us. We were grateful and impressed with his honesty.

Mitch (for Jay's) was very prompt in coming to evaluate the problem--a chair leg that had come off. He took the leg when he left and said he would call when he was ready to come back to reattach it to the chair. He kept in touch to let me know when he would be able to return. Fixed the leg to my satisfaction and saved a piece of furniture that was in otherwise good condition.

Mitch came out to my son's home and was very honest about the internal repair. Basically, my son's couch is a victim of the economy. Furniture makers started making the guts of their products with pine and wafer board so it's not solid/sturdy. Mitch said it'd be cheaper to buy a new couch. I was charged the money that Home Advisor charges Jay's Furniture Repair for the lead. Very honest and professional!

Mitch was able to diagnose the problem with my chair, showed me what he would do and had it completed in a weeks time. My chair is better than new. Cost of repair was 10% of a replacement chair. Great work, fair price,

Absoutly love the results, Our antique coat hanger/unbrella stand had been broken into several pieces after a move. I can't even see where the pieces came together.
