About This Gallery

As seen on Designers' Challenge, this spa-like bathroom is miles apart from where it began. We were challenged to transform this young couple's dark, dated master bathroom into a light and airy retreat. To accomplish this, we raised the ceiling and added a larger window dressed with an elegant roman shade. We also introduced a steam shower, separate whirlpool tub, and a warm palette of marble and honey-toned woods. Nickel and antique bronze accents and lighting added a final touch of elegance.

THE MIRROR'S A "NO GO".... TOO MUCH. . . AND YOU DONT MIX NICKEL AND BRASS. . . AND THE TUB IS TOO LARGE FOR THE ROOM

They could have added a little more interest, broke it up some b/c it still just looks like a really long room to me, & very heavy on the one side. I do like the ceiling much better.

The transformation is awesome! I especially like that, you worked the big tub into that size of bathroom. I am positive that tub will provide a comfortable spot to admire the new remodel. I would like to have seen more photos of the tile work in the shower area. The frameless glass doors are beautiful. Excellent!
