About This Gallery
All of the electric, plumbing, and mechanical were upgraded (100 year old home). The goal was to create more storage space, a larger island, and make the room feel larger without losing the character of the older home. I installed glass block in the sitting area for privacy and light. Over the sink area I installed a garden window at counter top height for her herbs and flowers. The red birch cabinets matched the warm wood in the rest of the house. Glass doors opened view to back yard.
