Comment: we are in the process of buying a home. The home has an addition which extended two bedrooms, and an outside patio. To do this they poured a slab approximately 10 feet wide, and 25 ft long. Since the addition was completed, the two concrete slabs have settled. The home inspector said it's about 1 or 2 inches. slabs now " tilt" towards each other so it makes the water drain towards the house. There is also a deviation of elevation at the slabs of about 1 inch. We were wondering if it would be worth it to level the slab by mud jacking or to level the floors in the bedrooms, and redo the slab in the patio. was wondering if you could provide an approximate cost without visiting the sight.
