  Comment: Hi - We have a 12 x 12 concrete slab in great shape, and I want to overlay the slab and extend it with pavers. I purchased ~600 square feet of Pavestone pavers last Fall through a connection at the Lees Summit facility. I originally purchased the pavers thinking I would rent the equipment and do much of the work myself, but life got in the way, my wife's mom took ill...and they're still sitting. I'd like a quote and your thoughts on how best to approach the job. We also have a low area in the lawn that tends to collect water, so I need this looked at too. I've talked to a couple of contractors that Pavestone provided and they agreed they could overlay the slab and then prepare the base down the back of the house to extend the patio, but they are so far behind with the weather that neither of them could promise anything before August - and they made me feel as if my job wasn't big enough for them to prioritize.
