Comment: like to install flagstone pathways to a new double garage with walkway to a new porch. We want to retain the rustic look of an historic neighborhood by allowing grass between the flagstones in the pathways and between the pathways themselves. The stones are to be installed in a random pattern. The length of the pathways will be 165 ft. and approximately 18" in width. The total stone would be between 200 -250 square feet of flagstone depending on how much space is left between flagstones (2-3"?). Our first choice is flagstone, but we would consider alternatives of sufficient strength to allow cars to be driven on it.
