"The success or failure of nearly any project is usually a direct result of the planning, resources, skills & knowledge of those involved. For the projects that you need professional help on you hope you are receiving good recommendations, being told the truth and everyone does what they agreed to. We all know how choosing the wrong help at the beginning of a project can quickly cause setbacks. When planning a concrete sidewalk project for some time I selected a well known company knowing they were more of a production type of outfit and would only be on site for a few days to complete the job. This was following the pandemic and I was promised they would be out repeatedly all summer until winter came and then was told the same thing the following spring. I then realized I chose the wrong people. As frustrating as the whole process was, mostly from the waiting for people to show up and do the agreed upon job, there was a silver lining to all the delaysâ ¦..I met Bill from All Out. I actually got really lucky as my next door neighbor had found Bill for a sizable concrete/landscaping project as his house. The project Bill was working on was similar in scope to what I needed. I didnâ t waste any time introducing myself and quickly realized my stalled project may still have a chance. It doesnâ t take long after meeting Bill to realize you are dealing with someone extremely knowledgeable in his trade and possibly more importantly, proud of his work. Bill showed me everything he was working on at my neighbors and how he envisioned it coming together. He had lots of ideas not only on the foundational aspects of the project that need to be right, but also the small details on the back end that really help tie things together nicely. He showed enthusiasm for the project and was excited about what he was creating. Bill reviewed my project with me and in doing so shared many ideas from other projects he has worked on. He let me know where my ideas worked well and also where things needed to be done a little differently. I quickly realized his capabilities and talents would easily accommodate my project. He had awesome equipment sized appropriately for the jobs he was taking on and knew their limitations as well. Bill had all the traits you expect from a professional that knows what they can and cannot do. He also seemed to like a good challenge to keep things interesting. My initial scope of work presented would only maybe have taken a week to complete by the average contractor pushing through their jobs. This was not the case on my project. What may have been a nice quick job for someone turned into Bill being onsite for upwards of two months. I think my initial project likely tripled in size. Bill had his hands around every aspect of the project and I often found him working alone, taking his time to make sure things were done right. He always had time to review my ideas and see how they could be incorporated into the project at hand. Communication was never an issue. My project grew in size because things were turning out so nice as they went along that it just made sense to keep going and roll what would have been follow up projects into the current job. My project turned out incredible and at the end of the day, it turned out better than I anticipated because of the talent Bill brings to the table. What an artist does with paint, Bill can do with concrete. Aside from the concrete he was also able to tie in retaining walls/massive boulders and a final grade to the landscaping. I might just say, if Bill decides to take on your project, consider yourself lucky."
