Comment: We completed a new home construction in 2010. A custom builder built the house and they contracted with Minnick's to do the HVAC system. We contracted for the installation of an HVAC system featuring a geothermal heat pump, where heat is distributed through radiant floor tubes throughout the house and cold air is delivered through a traditional duct system. From the first time we used the cooling system we noted that (1) one of the second floor bedrooms did not cool properly (2) the air movement through the ducts is too noisy. Long story short, the contractor and Minnick's have disputed the cause, but neither party is taking responsibility. At this point I have lost faith that my builder is going to solve this. We also have a installed separately an air exchange system that Minnick's insists is part of the problem because the air exchange loops are not designed properly. Minnick's also says that the vent holes covering the returns are not cut big enough and are artificially rest
