Comment: I bought a house about a year ago. It's on a slight slope so the house to the left id higher elevation, and the house to the right is lower elevation. In theory that would mean good drainage, but for some reason I get HUGE puddles in my back yard every time it rains. So I want to: * Find out what it would take to improve drainage. * Get suggestions / estimates for improving the back yard so that it's more dog friendly and doesn't have so many stupid weak plants that just get trod on. * Remove a fire pit and a section of 15x15 brick pavers and re-align sprinkler system. * Put plastic down, and 3-4 inches of 2 inch river gravel on the sides of the house (2x aprox. 4x80) to reduce the amount of mud my dogs get exposed to.
