"Working with Mostyled to renovate my outdated, unappealing house was a game-changer. Despite a modest budget, their team performed miracles, turning what was once an eyesore into a charming, comfortable home. Mostyledâ s innovative approach to design maximized every dollar, proving that you donâ t need a fortune for a stunning transformation. They cleverly repurposed materials and introduced cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality or style. The project, completed efficiently and within budget, showcased their ability to create beauty from the mundane. Mostyled is a master at affordable renovations, and I wholeheartedly recommend them for anyone looking to revive an old home."

"We knew when Nick walked into our home that he was the right pro. He was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and had great ideas for our project. He and Joel did superior carpentry for our wainscoting project. They were on time, cleaned up as they worked and the end result was really stunning. Their attention to detail was very impressive and I can t find a single flaw in their workmanship. I would not hesitate to recommend or rehire Nick."

"Super professional and helpful, very quick and communicative and VERY handy. Seriously, normally you would need 5 different companies just to do these things, but this small company is so helpful in just making sure clients are comfortable So they ended up doing A LOT for me, especially since there's so much to do for a new apartment , which I greatly appreciate. And I ended up using them for another apartment too because of how good they were These were just a handful of stuff they did, nothing too crazy but as you can tell as the list adds up, it was way easier to have just the same guys do it: - new vinyl flooring installation - painting entire unit - bathroom tiles - drywall installation - front step repairing (old house, so it was shaky) - closet shelf installation - cabinet install - changed mortice old locks to cylindrical normal locks - installed finished trim around bathroom door - shoebase trim across the whole unit - door actuator install - spray paint old vents to white Basically I helped design some of the aspects or thought processes with Ben and he was able to provide feedback. The installation of cabinets and closets for example was exactly where I wanted them to be! Then, each invoice was line itemed so it's easy to understand what everything cost. Again very clear & communicative Love them , highly recommend!"

"We were very happy with DemoWorks. The price was fair, the work was good and the workers friendly. Initially, my husband and I hired DemoWorks to remove two small walls/doorframes and to drywall our front hall closet. This was no easy feat considering our house is 100 years old, has mostly plaster walls, and had an old exterior wall now acting as an interior wall in our home. We also wanted, what we thought were, two old, capped gas pipes removed from our living room wall. When Monfilio and Drake arrived to do our project, Monfilio immediately stated that he believed the gas pipes were actually old electrical boxes. At this point, we had several estimates from other companies on the cost of removing these gas pipes and, yet, Monfilio was literally the only person to suggest that he believed these capped pipes were actually electrical and when we opened up the wall, he was right too. Monfilio was always willing to offer advice and information about the construction of our house. You could tell he has a great passion for homes. There was a small misunderstanding and he was willing to fix it so that we were completely happy with the project. He even stayed late (unprompted) to make sure it was 100% complete before he left. Long-story short, we were so impressed with the work that they have done for us that we actually asked them to come back to remove a third doorframe, after our first project was completed. At this point, all of our projects have been completed and we are very happy with the results. It is also worth noting that all the employees that have worked with us on our projects have been professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We will definitely be hiring them to help us with other projects around our old home."

"They were very flexible, made suggestions as to how things could be done better, weren't pushy but knew where to stress things be done for quality's sake. We had to handle some unknown & unexpected issues; they handled those well."

You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
