"Tonin was able to quickly provide an estimate for repairs to my cinder block and slab back porch, which included: 1. repair of cinder block wall which the previous owner said was damaged when an excavator backed into the porch 2. break-up/removal of old concrete stairs and replacement with new stairs made of cinder block and blue stone, and 3. patching holes on the surface of the concrete slab. He gave me a reasonable estimate for the work. He did not try to up-sell me, like another contractor attempted to do. He listened to what I wanted done, he explained what he would need to do, which was exactly what I was looking for. He showed up on the day and time he promised. (I have dealt with other contractors and it’s always a bad sign when they show up late on the first day) Tonin did a fantastic job and his repairs were beautiful. S & T noticed issues they did not and explained fully how they would handle the job of installing a new septic tank and taking good care of plants that would need replanting and grass that would need re-seeding. They ran into huge rocks and never complained. We had contracted for them to take away soil left over after installation. So great was the voume of rocks that they brought in 4 cubic yards of soil and did not charge extra. The work crew was friendly and eager to explain what they were doing and why.
