Comment: We have a three unit system. The first floor system went out summer of 2012, we were told that the condenser unit was bad and it would be cheaper to replace the entire system. Now the second floor unit the fan does not run, the system makes noise and you can feel hot hair coming from it. I turned it off. Last year they replaced a part that looked like a cylindrical battery. Unfortunately the only way I could get the system to stop making noise was to flip the breakers, which happen to be connected to the third floor system, so now we have no A/C. I have MS and cannot be in a hot environment and have little money to make matters worse.
